Slack's Hoagie Shack Fairless Hills — Restaurant in Falls Township

The food is great but, the employees are very rude. The one guy making the cheesesteaks got mad because it was my first time there and I didn’t k ow they had seeded rolls after I placed my order. I asked for a seeded roll and he almost had a heart attack. Then as the food was getting done, he made a smart remark asking the other employee was the order “actually to go like the slip says or are THEY eating it here." Not sure what his problem is, if thats how you treat customers for asking for a different type of roll then he is in the wrong business. He didn't even finish cooking the meat. I can see if he already made the actual cheesesteak. I wouldn't eve have asked if that was the case. He then took the plain roll and threw it angrily in to the trash. That made me feel very uncomfortable and at that point felt like my food might be unsafe due to me asking for a different roll. Not looking for nothing from this but for him to learn better...

Ordered at 5:39. It's now going on 7 and the food still isn't here. Smdh i read the previous comment response and let me say grub hub does not complicate anything. Uncle Charlie's is always way early before their delivery time. Hunger pains are pretty much passing which is ok cause im not interested in eating a cold burger and fries. I was going to order from Charlie's but wanted to switch it up. Not happening again. 😤 ironically food jist got here but its cold.

Updated 10/29 me and my gf just went in. Welp horrible service, the girl wasn't paying attention. Annnnnd she purposely gave us someone else's fries!!! She took some out the freezer, was about to microwave them but then just figured giving us someone else's would suffice. Can't deliver cause it takes 70-80m (check grubhub) and when you go in you're just turned off...

I have been to the slack's location in Newtown for many years but had found out they are being replaced so I came to the Fairless hills location. The Italian sandwich is always a good option. They decreased the size of their side of oil from a 2oz cup to a 1oz cup which isn't enough for half a sandwich imo. I used to be able to buy a small catering bottle of the slack's oil but they won't do that for you at this location. They are hiring at this location but with good reason considering they are only offering federal minimum wage as their starting pay rate. But get raises often... (Yeah right not enough to keep up with inflation). Hope their employees start to get paid a living wage for an essential job. My 12 inch Italian cost me $11. The employees can't even afford a sandwich with an hour...
