We went to Romeo's for our 40th wedding anniversary this June. The food was excellent. We had the Green Beans, Korean Fried Chicken, Guava Sticky Ribs and Baja Tacos along with the homemade lemonade. We started with the Beans, which had a mild heat to them, they were excellent, the outside had a light tempura kind of coating on them. Then the Korean Fried Chicken and Guava Sticky Ribs came, by themselves I would have said the Korean Fried Chicken was very good to excellent, but because we compared them to the Guava Sticky Ribs, which were our favorite for the night, they just had to go to very good. Our final dish came later, and took about 10 more minutes after everything else was finished, it was the Baja Tacos with fresh grilled Salmon. They were very good, and I'm not a lover of salmon either. The lemonade, was expensive at $8, however, it was also the best lemonade I've ever had, so I actually ordered 2 of them (no free refills on them). It had mint in it, I would say it was worth the price. The only issue with Romeo's is the menu; it's small, which we appreciated, but we were just on the cape for a couple of days, I can see where frequent guests would get bored of the menu if they don't change it (they may change it, I don't actually know). For visitors to the Cape, it's a no brainer, I would definitely recommend Romeo's.

Epic dining experience. Tapas / social style menu, small and large plates. Bar with nice wine list and great cocktails as well as some beer options. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, the owner took the time to welcome us personally and made sure we were well taken care of throughout our visit. We shared woodstone pita, mac & cheese, sweet potato pierogies, cornbread, and Brussel spouts. Every dish was prepared to perfection and delighted the senses. Not the cheapest dining experience around, but for the quality food and experience, definitely an outstanding value. We'll definitely be going back!

Food is great! The menu is short, so if you come as family or group of friends - you will be able to try everything on the menu! It is a family style restaurant, so quite noisy :). Short specialty drink menu, but they have full bar and excellent bartender! Of course we tasted every drink on their specialty menu! They do run out of dishes at the end of the night, but that’s because all their food is fresh! I wouldn’t recommend it if you are looking for romantic atmosphere. Waitress was great, greeting and seating experience also great as they were able to accommodate our extra person.

My girlfriend and I wanted an amazing dining experience while vacationing in Cape Cod. After looking over all the establishments we decided on Romeo's. We had no idea what to expect but what we experienced was second to no place here.

Romeo's entire menu is fresh, local, and the flavors are diverse and spectacular. We were greeted by the owner and head chef's mother, who was warm, welcoming, and the faith she had in this place was both endearing as well as right on the money. She explained the style, flavors, and what to expect.

Our server reiterated the ideals of the restaurant. The menu and small plates keep things fresh but more importantly the service and warmth of the place hooked us.

This is by far the best dining experience in this area by far. We have spent a week scouring Cape Cod for a fine dining experience but we're shocked and amazed when we found this place.

Every menu item we ordered hit, firing on all cylinders. We started with the tomato salad, tuna crudo, pork spare ribs, and veggie fried rice. We also had a new seasonal menu item: eggplant fries with tomato jam.

The fries were otherworldly and the details were unbelievable - the tomato jam is to die for.

Our server was TJ, and he made us feel right at home. His knowledge and attitude immediately made us want to come back. Chef Tommy has created something well worth the reservation. We are planning to come back in fall and this is the only spit we want to indulge in again.

10 out...

I have never felt the urge to leave a bad review ever, but this was the worst restaurant experience I have ever had. It took 30 mins after our reservation time to be seated, but we still gave them the benefit of the doubt because we were looking forward to our food. Corn Caesar salad was good, but then we got our aranchini. Cut into it expecting a soft, melted center and instead got a hard frozen ball of unmelted cheese. Sent it back and was told they were going to bring a better one but somehow ended up with an even worse aranchini dish. The cheese in the center was ice cold and the outside was room temperature at best. Sent it back AGAIN because we expected the aranchini to be at least warm when we were paying $12 for it. They apologized and we were told it was taken off the menu for the night, but a table right by us also got the aranchini and it arrived piping hot. It was so hot that we could see the steam coming off of it from our table, and we really couldn’t understand how that was happening after we sent back cold aranchini twice. We ended up deciding to try something else, so we ordered the zucchini. They tell us they actually ran out of it, so we changed our order yet again. We were already pretty upset over getting cold aranchini twice, but the nail in the coffin was that they didn’t take anything off of our bill as a way to apologize and didn’t try to make it up to us at all. Safe to say we are never...

I gotta tell you, my wife saw the reviews of this restaurant and was very interested in trying it. So, I obliged with dad-in-law and daughter in tow to our reservation. Right from the start, the bullshit starts: 1) “we know the boats that pass by my house on Surf drive so we buy the fresh tuna from them only”, 2) if it’s not locally grown to the. community , we don’t serve it - Q: “where’d the rice come from… rice paddy in Chatham only you have access to?”, 3) everything here is homemade daily?, 4) a frigg’n story with everything you ordered … painful to listen to…. the food: EHHHHHhhhh, it’s OK, but NOT worth the absolutely RIDICULOUS prices charged… $9.00 for a small bottle of Saratoga still water? $24.00 for 4 biscuits… biscuits? $13.00 for 3 slices of bread… bread. WE TAKE FULL RESPONSIBILITY FOR NOT CHECKING FOOD COSTS. However, what you get for this absurd costs is average food at best and certainly NOT worth the stories or cost. We’ve been to the best restaurants in Newport, North End and Federal Hill along with hundreds of others in many states and spent as much and more and were delighted to pay the check. Forgotten drink, anemic serving sizes, average tastes, mussels missing the meat, burnt cookie dessert and foolish stories about the food sourcing. NEVER AGAIN unless they cut costs in half. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING SPECIAL HERE FOR RIDICULOUS MONEY. Better...
