I want to give 5 stars for the guy at the front counter. This was my first time ever at noodles and company- I'm from Washington state never heard of it. I walked in all excited asking the front counter guy what he likes there and what I should get. Telling him I'm new and trying to be friendly, I gave a 10% tip too! (: Out of no where, one of his co workers emerges from the back and directly asks him loudly in front of everyone "hey how's your girlfriend?" The front counter guy didn't understand and said "um.. how's MY girlfriend?" He said again directly and loudly "yeah hows your girlfriend? We saw you talking to her (me) on the cameras and assumed..." The poor front counter guy looked so embarrassed ! I stood up for him, I laughed and said "it wasn't like that, why would he say that? What a freak!" Then looked at the other customer this all happened in front of and said loudly to her "isn't it funny how people try to embarrass and make others look bad, but really they just make themselves look bad?" OMG it was so awkward my first experience here. Before I left the front counter guy gave me my bag I said "hey I'm so sorry if I came off weird, I'm just new and was trying to be friendly." Moral of the story screw the guy from the back of the store...
Read moreA guilty pleasure of mine is to take advantage of the gift card promotions they run on occasion. Because of this, I always have a loaded card with extra coupons to enjoy some of the more extravagant dishes they serve there.
There are noodle dishes from cultures both East and West. Two visits ago it was Penne Rosa, a spicy dish from Europe. Last visit it was Japanese Pan noodles with potstickers. The variety also extends to soups, salads, and you can even substitute regular noodles for “zoodles,” their take on zucchini noodles.
For me, the deal sealer is the better quality ingredients they use. Some pieces cheap out in order to lower their bills, but Noodles and Company provides quality to ensure their dishes are superb. Combined with fast and friendly service, it feels like getting a gourmet dish at fast food levels of speed. Perfect for when you’re on a time limit, yet you just don’t want to settle for the unhealthy fast food joints.
I recommend this place whole heartedly. And don’t forget to sign up for their app; you get coupons from them every once in a while when...
Read moreMy daughter and I visited the 45th location last night at 5:45 and I was very disappointed in the food and service. The line to take our order was very quick, but we waited about 15 minutes for our food. At one point the staff at the till yelled at those who had not ordered that the kitchen was quite backed up and it would take a long time for their food. I understand busy, but there were at least 6 people in the kitchen and some were literally just standing their while others were very busy. Perhaps people need to be cross trained to help other areas out while they are not busy.
Also the chicken salad I had was very disappointing. The chicken had no flavor and I would be surprised if it was more than 3oz of meat ( I measure my food at home so I know what serving sizes are). I ordered the $9 portion and that was quite over priced for 3 oz of flavorless chicken and brown lettuce. My 2 week old spinach at home was in better shape than the lettuce they served me. The food was DEFINITELY not worth the price or the wait. Needless to say I will not...
