Is there ever a time Coldstone doesn’t sound amazing and go down good? I don’t think so either.

Ice cream is a great blessing- it’s good for when you’re happy, celebrating, out with friends or family, when you need a sweet treat, want something to refresh you, or even when you’re sad or need something to cheer you up. And Coldstone makes it all the better by how well they mix up their ice cream and give it life. Even their milkshakes are pretty darn good.

The only thing I have to say for this location is that it is ALWAYS insanely busy. Like, I love ice cream but I hate coming to this Coldstone because I know there will be a line no matter the time of day. And now that it’s the only one in Fargo (rip 32nd Ave location) I think that’s only worsened. But hey, like I said, ice cream is a dessert for every mood, therefore people...

Unfortunately, our visit did not go good. Our son wanted a cake from here, for his 9th Birthday. We ordered it on Monday, so it would be ready on Saturday. Since we were headed to Fargo to celebrate with family for the weekend, we thought it would be perfect. Umm, it was not. We got there to pick our son’s cake up, and head back to our family and they lost our order. No cake to pick up. We were able to show them we did order a cake and they finally were able to make our son’s cake. We came back to get our cake later, waited and waited and finally had the cake. There really was never a were so sorry, sorry we changed your plans, or here’s a coupon, come try us, or cake on us, the attitude we got was like is we don’t care. I walked into Cold Stone wanting to try a Lemon Whip smoothie. I was informed that the day prior they stopped making the non dairy whip. I was pretty disappointed, however, Jacob the associate waiting on me, went above and beyond in creating an unique blend that included non dairy ingredients. He even took the time to verify with the manager, who was not as friendly as i would have expected given his position, that all ingredients were non dairy. I was not only very impressed by the time, creativity and careful checking of ingredients to meet my dietary needs but also, and most importantly, his willingness to go above and beyond in creating a smoothie that I could.
