Twin Peaks — Restaurant in Fargo

So, first time at Twin Peaks for my brother and I; and the friend that was with us has been here before. This is April 27th, 2024, at 6 pm or so. Some pros and definite lows, for which this review reflects.

Pros: Atmosphere; the time it took to be seated; and the Fried Mozzarella Bites

Negatives: The service, the wait time, and some of the food.

For the pros, tt definitely was a nice restaurant to come into at first, and we were seated quite quickly. It had plenty of energy throughout. The mozzarella bites that my friend ordered and unfortunately had to remind the not original server about after we got our normal food was insanely good.

Now for the negatives, while the drinks came out quickly, our food took almost 45 minutes to get out to us (and my friend missed the above appetizer and side right away). Some of it, including my fries, was on the cold side. The burgers were fine, along with my brother and friends' food. We also were not checked on by our server as well for a better part of the evening; instead, her and most of the other girls were visiting a guy who drove a Mustang. A staff member Kate focused on chatting up a table next to us; and the guys on the other side of us said it was the best service he had. We were like, you joking, right...? Before he and his buddy left, he goes, "it is who you know, I guess." Is that the type of business/service this establishment runs?

Lastly, the server takes my brothers card, complemented him on wrapping it up; proceed to ring up the guys next to us as well; came back to my brother after and said, you ready to check out...? She forgot in a span of 3 minutes that he gave her the card... FFS 🤦 She tracked it down, but wow...

I come to Fargo regularly, but, as I said, it was my first time here my group wanted to sit down and enjoy ourselves after a great day the three of us had...; this almost spoiled it, TBH. /shrug.

This place, unfortunately, will be far from our first choice again in the future,...

Terrible service! I walked in the restaurant to the host pulpit that says, "please wait to be seated." While there is plenty of staff around, after several minutes no one ever came, so I seated myself at the bar. There are several bartenders standing around talking, it took about 5 minutes before they acknowledged me. I ordered food and they first brought out my ribs, with a bunch of sauce on them, as my hands became stickier and stickier, I was trying to find someone to give me napkins, I finally had to waive a waitress down. Then when my salad came I sat there dismayed because I had no utensils. Again, I had to flag someone down to give me utensils. The rest of the time I was in the restaurant not once was I asked did I need anything, or did anyone check in on me. I even had to waive them down to pay my bill.

One of the bartenders was constantly looking at her phone. Another bartender kept running to a table so she could flirt with all the guys for basically the whole time I was there. This place seriously has a high school vibe, a bunch of immature kids running the place All the while, I saw the manager pass by many times, he seemed to be completely oblivious/careless to the goofing around, and talkative waitresses who weren't actually working. I travel 3 weeks a month so I eat out practically every night. This is one of the worst service experiences I've ever had and only the third time where service was so bad I couldn't give them any tip because it would be a travesty to tip someone who didn't give you any service. Too bad, because they have a pretty good menu and I would have returned, but I won't now so you've lost...

Horrible experience. First my family walk in and someone acknowledges us and lets us know it will be a little bit (even though there was several tables open) okay no problem. We have a seat and wait. 2 other people walk in and she comes over and immediately seats them. Another lady walks in and starts placing a to go order. We finally get seated, waited over TWENTY minutes before we had to ask someone if we had a waitress coming. Finally got our waitress over she apologizes and says something about being short staffed (even though we’ve seen her go help people that were seated after we arrived) got our drinks ordered and can’t tell you how long it took before those came. Didn’t wait too long for our food, but they brought my husband boneless wings when he ordered bone in, and one of our daughters didn’t get her fries, waitress never gave us silverware either. The cook went to go correct our food (he was the only one that gave us good service there) and my husband had to order another beer through him also since our waitress never came back to ask. Also, not even sure she knew that she ordered the wrong food because she never came back to check on us after we started eating or to ask why my husband didn’t have food. When we were finished we got the bill and wow that was the fastest our waitress ever came back to grab our payment. Wish we would of had a better experience but this was far...
