I preordered Riftbound through this store and was told my order was secure. Now that prices are skyrocketing, I’ve been pushed into a mysterious “Wave 2” that doesn’t arrive until months later. The timing is just too convenient — instead of honoring preorders fairly, they’re spinning a story about “distributor issues” while rationing product.
Splitting preorders into “waves” is a retailer decision, not something distributors force. It feels like Wave 1 boxes are being sold elsewhere at higher profit while customers like me are left waiting. To make matters worse, in the middle of this mess they tried to upsell me on preordering the next set (Spiritforged) before they’ve even fulfilled the first one.
It’s hard not to see this as profits over promises. I’ll never do business here again. If you care about transparency and reliability, look elsewhere.

Thank you for the response. For transparency, your own Facebook page shows Riftbound preorders went live on April 16, 2025, while Riot’s official site lists August 4, 2025 as the public preorder date. That means orders were taken months earlier without clear terms or policies.
When I placed my preorder on May 3, there was no mention of “waves” or fulfillment order. Those rules appeared only after delays began and prices spiked sharply, changing what customers effectively bought.

I even received an email saying that my order was secure. Months go by. Riftbound releases. I don't hear anything. I want to make sure my order is being shipped. I email you guys. Then I received what appears to be a generated email saying that my order couldn't be fulfilled and that Riot wasn't doing reprints. My question is how did you take preorders when you didn't even know if you could fulfill said orders? I didn't even find out until I emailed you myself which implies I may have just been sitting their waiting for it if I didn't. I could have preordered somewhere else in that time but you guys didn't let me know at all that this was going to happen and now the product I preordered is much more expensive. I had friends who wanted to try it out with me as well once I got the Proving grounds set. You did provide an email saying a refund was sent. But I told you that I believe that I needed to be compensated by being sent other Riftbound product. It was only right that you would do so. You guys caused me to miss out on getting this from another vendor since I expected you guys to fulfill the order I preordered months ago. This is disappointing.    Read moreWent in on Saturday and was greeted by the awesome staff. Opened up probably $3-4000 of the spongebob set. Got to talking with the owner and his friend and started opening up sports boxes as well. I know nothing about sports so i explained to them what i was after snd they guided me. At a certain point they told me there was a million dollar wemby that could be pulled from 23 topps. I knew i wouldnt get it but it was fun trying and i didn't mind spending the money. Overall they were really helpful, worked with me, and i had a great time. Spent probably 5k+ but it was totally worth it. Heres where it goes bad...i come home and find out the wemby card had already been pulled which they had to of known. Why would you lie to someone at all? Let alone someone who came in and dropped 5k on a whim and planned on doing it often. I dont understand lol. Please tell me there is a solid explanation for this because i was clearly told topps 23/24 1/1 wemby had not been pulled when it was infact pulled 2 years ago. Like you could've told me it had been pulled and i wouldve just went in on more bowman or spongebob lol. A decent apology would get this review removed but as a business owner im dumbfounded youd lie to sell $700 in boxes and miss out on thousands more. Makes me sad honestly, idc...
