Ordered pizza for my workers the other day. When I looked at my credit card they charged me $80 for 2 large pizzas. I called K _ _ E (I wont use his full name), the manager (22ish year old kid) on duty at the time. He did not seem to care about my charges and said, "There is nothing I can do, just watch your credit card. This happens a lot and it usually gets put back as a credit." I asked him "Why does this happen a lot?" I got no answer from him. I then asked him if he would be happy paying $80 for 2 medium pizzas. Again he was stumped.
So I went there the next day and saw him in person. I figure maybe he would help me if I was standing in front of him. I admit I was upset. He told me not to be "Rude". Yes I was upset because I run a business and don't have 2 days to contest a charge of $80 for 2 pizzas. He asked me if I had my receipt. I told him "No, I don't keep my receipts for pizza." However I did show him the charges on my credit card. I then asked him to show me HIS receipt from my purchase. Surely Dominos tracks their sales. Well he could not produce that. He once again told me there was nothing he could do. You would think B _ _ _ N H. (won't use his full name) who owns a couple of Domino's stores would reach out to me and help me. Nope, nothing from him either. He was "unavailable" once again. Maybe he does not own a cell phone? No email? Maybe K _ _ E never told him about the mishap?
I will never patron this establishment again. I had to call my credit card company and have them take it off my credit card. The rep at my credit card told me, "Yes we see this a lot with Dominos." Hmm, makes me wonder if anyone is checking their credit card charges these days. I did call another Dominos (who knew the owner) and that person said, "I know B_ _ _ N H. I have been with Dominos for a long time. The kids who run these places don't have any business doing what they do. I understand your frustration." So I got more information and respect from another Dominos where as this one does not really give a rat's...... It's sad when the owner does not even seem to care about their patrons, nor does the manager/kid on duty.
Look at the reviews for this place. 3.7 is nothing to brag about, especially when all you are doing is making pizzas. Really hard I guess. "Do you want pepperoni on that pizza?" Again just kids most of the time working for $12/hour I can't blame them I guess.
Lots of complaints here. I am just adding to the list of them. Thanks to the owner for caring and thanks K_ _ E. As I mentioned when I left, "Learn a little bit if customer service why don't ya?" Again a...
Read moreAfter experiencing a steady decline in service and quality at our local Domino’s last night was a breaking point for us. We arrived a minute before our order was expected to be ready. The girl working the cutting station pulled out and sliced the first pizza. I watched on as she kept checking the oven and other boxes to see if our 2nd pizza had already made it out. I got the sense that only one of our two pies made it into the oven. Lots of general chaos amongst a staff very disorderly working tasks. Another guy attempted to assist (delivery driver that just walked in), opened the box of our sole pizza and due to shuffling it around turned some of the slices on top of each other and applied his bare hands on the pizza to fix it. I’ve decided at this point I’ll not be eating it. At the same time, they are having a discussion on a delivery order that wanted a 2L Diet Coke. No Diet Coke on site so they wrap a regular Coke in a bag and tells him to just drop it off. Finally we get back to my pizza shortage and another guy steps into to make another one. I offered please don’t worry about it now- the other pizza is cold and I’m just going to get a refund. While all this was going down I witness the pizza pans randomly cycling thru the oven and falling onto the floor (no pizzas on them), but no doubt these were recycled to use on the next pie after sitting on the floor. The pizza maker I waved off making my missing pies grabs the manager who I’ve yet to see and he rolls up the front counter and offers “what’s the problem as my people can’t seem to communicate.” I explain he’ll be reimbursing me and I’m not really happy how things just played out.
I would wager half the staff are on some level of using or coming off just using before their shift. I’m super annoyed my local Domino’s has declined to the level that no high school or part time worker without substance issues would tolerate the work environment. A real manager needs to be present daily and actively working to fix the plethora of quality, service, and general lack of food health standards. What I witnessed in 15 min of watching that circus unfold will ensure we never order at this location and what led me to taking another 15 min out of day to write a warning to...
Read moreMonday night my girlfriend and I ordered a small pizza from this dominos. Usually we have a good experience this Monday we did not. We called just after 11 to get a pizza delivered as they are the only place that delivers till 12 around here. We were told that it was going to be an hour and 45 minutes before we got our food. I being a former manager at a local pizza place new that didn’t sound right being 11pm on a Monday night. We said we would still like the pizza. The guy over the phone responded with an attitude saying “WOW”! I believe his name was Jerome. I don’t feel that his exasperation is justified in any way. I currently work in a restaurant and if people walk in an hour before close I still have to serve them. We got a text 6 minutes later saying the pizza was on its way. That gives me the impression they lied to me about the delivery times just so they could avoid late night deliveries. They called me right after telling me they called a driver in and that’s why it’s being delivered so fast. Now what are the odds someone would be on call at that time and be in uniform and at the store within 6 minutes. Sounds like another blatant lie. As far as the pizza is concerned it was what you would expect from a...
