I ordered online guest curbside. Order set to be ready 15 min from order at 830pm. I arrived about 25 min late and they informed me when I called to have someone bring the order out that they "ran out of chicken for the Southwest Chicken & Avocado Salad, so you want no meat or another meat? " i sub turkey on the salad. Of course I want meat, I didn't order plain salad. I go inside (no one at counter) to wait since my order will not be made accordingly- there's only 1 customer in the entire store besides me and they're eating. I'm informed the salad is being made. Few minutes later I get my order. I get home 15 min away and the Spicy Turkey Melt that I ordered with cibatta- the BREAD ROCK HARD AND CAN NOT EAT IT. there's no way with me even being late to pickup that the bread is rock solid from just sitting, it would just be cold. The "turkey" i chose since they "ran out of chicken" is just sprinkles of tiny cut-up pieces of turkey and not even the slices used for the sandwiches- it was something you sprinkle on the potatoes. The salad is a rip-off and the sandwich isn't edible. The chili was still temperature enough to eat. The fruit cup was mediocre.
The recurring problem with this location is its a bunch of kids "working" socializing and no one at counter, and no management around. They must not have been properly trained. Obviously McAlister, this store's management, and the employees do not pride themselves, nor care about the quality of the food. I wasted my time and gas coming to your location when your surrounded Wall to wall with competitors. I'm so disgusted with this food, I wasted 20$. This is not the first time POOR QUALITY FOOD has been served. that's why it's been so long since I've ordered here. My dogs won't even eat this...
Read moreOrdered a savannah chopped salad over the phone and pick up my order to find that it did not have almonds or cranberries in it. So, i had to walk back and return it. When i asked about it the manager looked at the cashier and said "you didn't tell her?!" And then proceeded to tell me that we can put almonds (which im sure she could've since it was suppose to be on it in the 1st place) but we are out of cranberries until the truck gets in. Grant it, it is 12:52pm. I then asked can i exchange it, in which i was told yes. Always had amazing service at McAlister's in Monroe and Charlotte. This is the first time i have to leave a review. It was negligent to not inform a customer ordering over the phone about not having ingredients in a menu. If i would have known i would have ordered something else or maybe not ordered at all. But that was a choice that was taken from me because apparently someone assumed I didnt know what was suppose to be in my food. Very disappointed. Maybe I'll wait a few months before returning. I know this facility is new, maybe they have to iron out a few kinks...
Read moreWorst place I've ever been on the last 6 visits. It's the same every time, not sure why I haven't learned yet not to come here. Takes FOREVER to get your food, and it comes out cold and wrong. I had to go up to the counter 3 different times over our order this last visit. They aren't ever even busy and they're equipped with a full staff. Ordered a French dip with au ju, came out ice cold . Ordered blt, got toasted bread lettuce and tomato. After inspection,no bacon or avacado. They gave us the two end pieces of the tomato with the stem. Garbage all around. No manager to speak with after now 4 issues. Thanks for nothing
Update.... I still haven't learned my lesson. Went back again for a cup of soup to go. The guy at the counter moves SUPER SLOW. It took 20 minutes for me to get my soup. They weren't busy. My soup sat on the counter for 9 minutes. All he had to do was give it to me and I could have been gone . I'm not sure if the guy at the counter was handicapp or not ,but he has zero customer service skills. He makes you not feel...
