Café Elite — Restaurant in Federal Way

I enjoy my coffee a certain way: strong, creamy, and balanced in sweetness. This particular location makes it so much easier to come back to. I don't go to any other coffee shop or drive thru because the flavor here is always consistent. I'm not much of a tea person, but coming here has also made that beverage enjoyable to drink, too. I enjoy talking to all of the baristas there, and how friendly they are. The lines do occasionally get long at times, but I sit through it and grin because their kindness and great coffee making make it worth the while (which is probably why there is a long line). I did accidentally honk once when I leaned on my wheel, but that only led to a funny conversation with the baristas that were there.

As long as I live within this area (I'd probably swing by every so often if I didn't), this location of Café Elite, in fact, this coffee shop itself, is the only place I will go to.

The only thing I have to share that they need to change is... y'all gotta update your menu at the drive-thru 🤣🤣. Other than that,...

Normally great service and drinks. This morning however, I pulled up, sign said open and lights were on but no one was in there. I understand things like maybe using the restroom so I waited and after about 3 minutes I honked my horn, still no one came so I waited about another 3 minutes and still no one came. Finally after another 4 minutes I reached out and knocked on the window and she came running finally giving me a ton of excuses like she was watching some camera from another area and couldn’t see me, she should have come in sooner to check if anyone was there. Even told me I should have honked which I did twice before knocking on the window. She seemed particularly spooked claiming she thought someone had walked up to the window. Not sure what she was going through this morning but i hope the rest of her day goes better. Up until this experience I had always had 5 star service but today by itself would be zero stars...

I used to enjoy the smoothies here but the last five times I’ve gone they are made wrong. I could tell before even drinking it that it was made wrong because the color wasn’t right. After tasting the smoothie it further confirmed that it was made wrong as it has almost no flavor. This is extremely disappointing as I said before all the other times I’ve gone they’ve been made right. After I first noticed that the smoothies were not made right I would ask for extra flavoring which you get charged extra for. This is extremely aggravating simply because they should already be made that way to begin with. The place is already overpriced, so I just don’t go back to this location and have honestly been turned off to going to any...
