I was on my home from an amazing work morning and thought I would treat myself as I normally make coffee at home. I am NOT that savvy when it comes to specialized coffee. I pulled up to the drive-thru and was not greeted by the person taken the order, just "what would I like" very rough around the edges...my rule of thumb is to also make that a point of acknowledgement by responding with, "Good Morning!" Because it was a good morning. I asked the representative if the new hazelnut oatmeal shaken ESPRESSO came hot. Her response was, we can make any latte hot but in a very condescending tone. I was immediately offended and my attitude was building and she sensed it and then tried to in her rough way to acknowledge my order. I was so mad when I got to the window that I immediately blurted out how rude that was. The person standing in front of the counter had just arrived and was acting clueless to why I was irritated. I explained that I was not that experienced with coffee and I had asked for a yes or no question and got nothing but a condescending response. The person who took my order was not even able to face me and threw her teammate under the bus to get any backlash for her attitude. No accountability. I will no longer support Starbucks and will only do local and privately owned coffee stands where I know that I'll get genuine service. They always remember your name and your order. Read moreMy 5-star rating is only based off of the AWESOME customer service my daughter & I received this morning. We were in between 6am - 6:25am; Danda was by herself. She greeted us, and then apologized for her delay in serving, due to the lack of preparation that was supposed to be done by previous employee(s) the evening before. She had to prepare everything, from defrosting food, to preparing drinks, and then having to take out and dump an over-flowing trashcan. She continued to apologize that we had to wait, which was NOT EVEN A PROBLEM. My only regret is that I paid with debit, and was not able to tip her cash, also could not do cash back because her till was not ready-to-use at start of day; by closer from evening before. I assure you, the next time we're in, I will definitely make an appoint to tip her, based off of her service and patience. Some employees would have a nasty attitude so early in the am, especially knowing of the SLACK that was left the evening before, only for Danda to have to complete it all herself. I do not know if it is management or new employees but what I originally loved about Starbucks, was consistency, and this location has failed miserably. Their cold foam looks like the remaining cream after a spray can is about to run dry. They do not have that thick velvety texture that other location has.
