We ate here on April the 2nd. My niece came into town and loves to try local places. I quickly suggested this place because I saw a lot of decent reviews, it was close, and I also wanted to try this place. While I don't have unreasonable expectations, I am big on customer service and notice the small things, so take my honest review for what it is. My niece ordered the pancakes with bacon. She said they did taste pretty good and gave it a 7.5 out of 10 rating. She appreciated that they were cooked on a clean grill, but they weren't as fluffy as she had hoped. She also had 3 glasses of OJ which were a decent size. Our friend Kenny, ordered 3 eggs over easy, hashbrowns, sausage patties, and toast. The eggs were cooked perfectly, the sausage was not bad, and the toast was not very toasted. It looked like warm white bread, barely hot enough to melt the butter. He did not rate his meal but did say he would not want to eat there again. He felt he could cook the same thing at home and get actual toast. LOL, My niece had asked if the biscuits were made in-house or frozen and warmed. We were told they came in frozen and are then cooked in-house. I decided to give them a try with gravy, I also ordered scrambled eggs with American cheese. I got 1 biscuit drowning in gravy which would have been perfect for 2 biscuits, and the eggs with way too much cheese. The eggs were cooked perfectly but there was just too much cheese. The gravy was also premade and the biscuit was overcooked in the microwave. Do you know how any bread that has been warmed in a microwave too long gets too hard of a section that you can't even cut with a knife? Well, that is how my biscuit was. Let's talk about the service. Our server was Jasmine. She seemed nice enough but wasn't the best server. As soon as our breakfast was brought to the table the receipt was under a plate. I do not care for a server who constantly checks in, I do expect 2 visits to a table after bringing the food. one time to make sure everything is fine and then to see if we wanted anything else. Had she stopped to ask that question she would have also sold us 3 pieces of cheesecake slices and 2 pieces of carrot cake. We figured we would just order it when we went to pay. There were several people by the display case that had some delicious-looking desserts and my niece and I were loudly talking about what we wanted while also trying to get someone's attention. Not one person asked if we needed help and we walked away with no desserts for later. The place is small but somehow they have decent seating in the place. We went at a busy time so it was kind of loud, we had to speak loudly to be heard, Parking is a joke, which made it hard for my friend who has a bad hip to get to the building. based on surrounding businesses I don't see how the...
Read moreFirst time tryin this place out. The best experience I had there was leaving.
Waitress was extremely rude to me for no reason. Was extremely disrespectful and wouldn’t provide a name. Heavy set Mexican woman sat us at table 13.
Went with my significant other and our daughter. She ordered an omelette with sausage links that were absolutely disgusting. Server forgot her toast. Had an attitude when removing the sausage links from the bill. No apology, wouldn’t acknowledge me, just crossed it off the ticket and walked away.
I ordered a patty melt which was bland and tasteless. Only ate half the sandwich. Definitely nothing to brag about. Might actually want to take that off your menu.
We needed to-go boxes and when the server came back with them, I tried to accept them from her because my girlfriend had her hands full and server actually pulled them away from me so I couldn’t take them. Weird employee just staring at me while I was eating, restocking silverware at the front desk, who was also rude and disrespectful and just felt like she wasn’t happy to be there to help anyone with anything. No smiles no “thank yous” from the women. Just miserable people looking lifeless.
There’s definitely a first time and a last time for everything, this was our first time here and will definitely be the last.
My advice to the owner would be to get some new employees with better attitudes that smile and make their guests feel welcome instead of miserable robots who make you feel uncomfortable...
Read moreOur party of 6 was seated directly next to the door on a very hot day when there were plenty of empty places she could have sat us. Every time the door opened we could feel the heat on us.
It took awhile for her to take our order even though the place was definitely not very busy.
4 out of 6 of us strongly disliked our food.
I ordered a pork tenderloin sandwich that was very dry. My boyfriend ordered a plain cheeseburger which definitely tasted like the frozen patty you buy in a box from Walmart. Zero seasonings on it. Extremely bland. He could only eat a few bites of it. His friend also ordered a cheeseburger and agreed it was just downright awful. Not fresh at all. Another friend of ours ordered the chicken tenders which looked like naked tenders. Looked like they had no breading on them whatsoever. She said they had no taste so she dunked them in ranch to make them somewhat edible.
The server was extremely hard to get her attention for refills after our drinks sat empty for quite some time since she never offered us refills on her own. She never checked on us at all after delivering the food.
Parking here is bad as well there are only a limited number of spots so we had to park in the lot behind the building and walk quite a distance to the door.
Overall for the price we paid and between the unimpressed food and the lack of service we will definitely not...
