Chatham Tap Fishers — Restaurant in Fishers

I have been coming to this location for years and I have to say - usually the service is top notch.. but this last time I went, I have never felt so disrespected as a customer…

There were a few other instances but I want to highlight two.

When it was my turn to order, THREE TIMES the waiter looked away from me while I was speaking - mid sentence to talk to someone else (not about their order)… he would ask me for my order, I would start speaking and then he would (i kid you not) start talking to someone else when I got like three words out. It took me a total of 4 times of me trying to get out that I would like the garlic fries…. Legitimately, just the garlic fries. He also did this to me when I was ordering a drink later on. I have never ever in my life had a server do that.

Also, when we went to hand him our checks, he was standing behind me, leaned across the table to grab the persons check sitting across from me.. looked at my check that I had in my hand gesturing for him to go ahead and take…. and then walked away instead of taking it…

I felt really disrespected to be honest…

The food though, as always, was amazing and the atmosphere is still amazing. I love this place so much. I hope maybe it was that guys first day and he learns how to give people his attention while they...

Went in on Friday for lunch and a beer and we sat for awhile before being greeted. The bartender/server finally came over and had zero enthusiasm, excited or whatever you want to call it, and she took our drink order and got our beers in a reasonably amount of time but she didn’t end up coming back to ask us for our lunch order for a good 15-20 minutes. Meanwhile we watched her walk somewhat by 3-4 or times with zero acknowledgement and when she went back to the bar, she started cutting lemons. When we looked over she coughed or sneezed in her hands and went back to grabbing the lemons. Not a great look for Chatham Tap. Went there for lunch to get the wings and ended up paying for the beers and leaving to go to Ale. The staff was so unfriendly and looked like she was miserable to be there. Awful service and if you are a germaphobe, this place isn’t for you. If I was the owner, I would want to know what kind of service my customers were receiving. Maybe she was having a bad. Who knows but they weren’t busy at all. Now I know why! lol

Updated Review We went back last week to have dinner and had a much better experience. Got the wings and a side salad that was terrific. Our server was on it and was great! Way better experience...

The end of an era….

For the last 13+ YEARS, I have shown up to Chatham Tap Fishers an hour early to eat, drink and pregame for Liverpool matches. My friends and I have sat in the same seats roughy ..today I show up for the match to find those seat reserved. Are you kidding ???? That was the beauty of the place, if you would commit the time, you would have a great seat. Hell, for USA World Cup matches, you would have to be there 2+ hour late early. It made for a great atmosphere too. The different fans sitting near each other gives a great vibe. Never any trouble. Today all that ended, a supporters groups gets the good seats. So farewell to the lap around the bar shirtless after the Dortmund come back, to Tony and I breaking a table after the Landon Donovan goal, to dancing on the bar during U2 cover bands and all the crying and hugging after the Barc game, CL wins and all the Klopp cups.
