Slapfish — Restaurant in Fishers

Light and delicious. I was in town for work and I've eaten here twice now. The restaurant is clean, and the food is served fast. I ordered the Lobster Roll, which has big chunks of lobster meat (mine had a whole claw just sticking out!). I requested my mayo on the side (personal preference) but the meat is usually tossed in a mayo/lemon/butter sauce. It's light and sweet, the bread is soft on the inside and crisp and buttery on the outside, like a giant Texas toast. After days of heavy eating and fast food, this was a welcome change. The next day I went back and tried the lobster taquitos and fish tacos. The taquitos were very delicious: sweet lobster inside, crispy flour tortilla shell, and lightly spicy sauce drizzled on the outside. And these taquitos are thick! Maybe 1.5-2inches thick. I could order 2 of these and it be a meal on it's own. And then there's the fish tacos and chips. Honestly, I didn't like the chips. Hard pass. But the tacos... are massive! I stared at them for a good 2 minutes trying to figure out how to eat them. You just have to commit and dive in. I got the "crispy" fish instead of grilled, but after all the sauces, the fish was very soft and flaky. Delicious, but definitely not crispy anymore. But I wasn't too bothered because the cabbage and radish give the tacos their needed crunch. Would definitely like return and try some more dishes.... if I can resist...

We went to SlapFish for my moms birthday! We had a really nice time and what stood out the most was their service! They were so kind and accommodating! I brought cake that they kept in the fridge until we were ready for it! They continued to check in with us and always had a smile! Honestly the service was the best part of our visit!

Food wise! We enjoyed several items. Specifically the Mac n cheese, the fried oysters, lobster roll and the fettuccine! Those were all 10/10! Everything else was good but I'd rate them at more of a 8/10. I think those items could differ depending on the person eating! For example. I loved the Lobster Tots but my boyfriend did not as much. The only food item I wasn't a fan of was the coleslaw. Not nasty just not for me.

The drinks!! Whoo! They did not play with making those drinks! They were very tasty and had a really nice amount of liquor!
