Ahi Poke has taken a serious nose dive in quality and customer service is horrendous. I stood in line (only customer in the store) for over 15 minutes watching an employee making online orders and another employee in the back filling up sauce bottles (saw me standing there the entire time). They never once acknowledged I was standing in front of them and continued about their business not glancing up at me one time. The employee then began making my order stating they were out everything I wanted (salad, onion, spicy tuna, tuna lua, spicy salmon, etc.)
I asked if the employee would consider giving me a discount on the avocado on my order since that was basically the only thing they had that I ordered. The employee laughed at me about not making prices and continued to try to make my order.
I asked the two employees working that night who their manager is. They both stared at each other. They had no idea who the manager was. They came up with “Ryan” and he only works on Sundays???
This place needs a serious overhaul. The worst experience ever. I’m so disappointed because I used to love them....
Read moreQuick version: the food is great if you can turn a blind eye to literally everything else. Longer version: As others have noted, whoever is "managing" this place, isn't. I'm pretty sure they literally never clean the tables during the day - I've certainly never found a clean one to sit at. The straws/forks station is always missing something. The one time my partner used the bathroom there, he said it was absolutely disgusting and out of soap AND paper towels. I felt pretty concerned that I may have just eaten a (raw fish) meal made by hands not washed in an entire shift. 🤢 We did tell them about the bathroom ...but no one addressed it! The guys behind the counter are usually really sweet and helpful, although tonight there were some young ones (literally don't look old enough to be employed, actually...) who were a bit rude. I find all of this incredibly frustrating because I actually love the food there and it's the only thing like it in Flagstaff. Step it up, Ahipoki! I really want to keep going there! But how long can I turn a blind eye...
Read moreI happened to stumble across this restaurant when I was in a rush to get something to eat on my way home from work. I was tired and hungry and just wanted something delicious. So I went to Whole Foods which is located in the same plaza. Not only were they charging $14 for a small poke bowl, but I stood at the counter without being helped for well over 10 minutes without being acknowledged. Safe to say, I was grumpy and decided to go somewhere else. I saw Ahi Poke and decided to try it. The staff immediately greeted me upon entering the doors and explained how the ordering system works. My poke bowl cost $11 for two large scoops of fish and a bunch of toppings. If the service and price wasn’t great enough, when I got home and tried the poke bowl..... WOW! It was sooooo yummy! You can taste the high quality ingredients and now I’m OBSESSED with going! I would highly recommend...
