It's unfortunate that I feel the need to leave this review because I typically really do enjoy the food and atmosphere. During my last visit however I experienced some of the WORST service I've had in a long time. When we were seated we were the only table in the entire restaurant. It was mid afternoon - right in time for happy hour. Our server introduced himself as Austin (Hosstin?). We ordered some appetizers off the happy hour menu (which he charged us full price for) and then proceeded to hide in a corner and completely ignore us for the next 20 minutes. During this time other customers came in and were standing at the host stand waiting to be greeted. Mind you these customers were only two other 2-tops. Far from getting slammed. On one of our orders we asked for a few modifications (no tomatoes, no onion, add corn, pretty basic) and he completely ignored this request. We didn't mention it though because of how long everything took to come out and because he had such a bad attitude and seemed so exasperated every time we asked for something as simple as a water refill. Honestly basic customer needs like water refills or extra napkins are anticipated by a decent server - I'm saying this as someone with several years of experience in the food and beverage industry. Seems like a bunch of college kids doing the absolute bare minimum and hiding behind the counter playing on their phones. Like I said, the food is good, but with this kind of service it's a hard...
Read moreI would give no stars if I could only because I've had a bad experience more than once going here! (I go back because the food is good!) but no food is worth the horrible service. Once seated, it took 15 minutes for a server to come over to even greet us and take drink order, let me tell you we were one of maybe 6 tables in the restaurant, so not at all busy! After taking our order we waited sooo long to get our food, server never checked on us once!!! My husband and I could see our server drinking and talking with other servers while our food was sitting under Heat lamps. We asked another server if she could check our food and all she said "it's coming, we have ALOT of tickets!" If I could type her tone, you'd be shocked!!! We waited a full 45 minutes &FINALLY the manger comes over with our food to go, since I had to get back to work! Where I work I fully understand things happen BUT there was zero communication, zero hussle , zero care, and lack of responsibility. No one made eye contact or even wanted say two words! Manager did comp one of our meals BUT if anyone actually came over to communicate what was happening and give us a time frame of when the food would be out, that's what I care about!! I WANT to pay for the food that I order- all I care about the service I receive when going out to eat and Pita Jungle misses that mark for...
Read moreWent for dine in a few weeks ago and the service was awful. Our waitress was prompt at first and took our order and got us drinks. While we were ordering we asked for a an extra side of pita with our hummus appetizer and our waitress told us she would just put in a large order of hummus which caught us offgaurd so we said ok even though it was more expensive. Then when our food arrived our waitress forgot our forks so I turned to an employee packaging Togo orders and asked for silverware and she looked like she wanted to kill me for asking. Then when we were finally ready to go we had to wait almost 30 minutes to see our waitress again to get the bill. I was sitting with debit card in hand to signal we were ready. A busboy actually had to notify our waitress of her tables needing attention. Mind you, there was a table of at least 6 directly next to us that arrived after and left before us. So she was next to us multiple times without even checking on us.
Today we ordered a falafel bowl and gyro bowl Togo and both of our order came with absolutely no sauce even though the menu states that the meals come with tahini and tzatziki.
We like pita jungle but the flag location has terrible service that seems to be a reoccurring theme. We are about done...
