Waited forever for my food even though they weren't busy at all (while I was waiting one other customer came in and picked up a call ahead order, that's it, no one else at all).
After waiting a long time I noticed all of the staff were out in the dining area socializing while a truck driver unloaded what looked like supplies for the store. Then they looked over as though they were surprised I was there and asked if I was waiting on food. I replied that I was and some of them went again into the food prep area to attempt to find my food. After they found my order and some of my food they discovered that they were out of avocado spread and couldn't make the rest of my order. At this point 2 other customers came in and after I recieved my partial order I had to wait in line to get a refund for the pay of my order they couldn't make due to their lack of avocado spread.
Also, a couple key things that weren't mentioned above, but should be noted. There seems to be no back entrance for trucks to stock the store, so everything gets unloaded from the truck into the dining area. This seems inconvenient and unsafe if you have any small children with you. Additionally, the employee's excursion back into the food prep area didn't include a stop at the hand washing station. Leaving and returning to a food prep area is normally something that includes hand washing before handling food again.
Incompetence doesn't even begin to describe the staff here this morning. Going forward, I'll plan on asking if they have each individual ingredient in stock before ordering anything, this way maybe I'll avoid these issues in the future. Or maybe I just won't go...
Read moreI travel for business to Flagstaff a couple times a year and usually pick up donuts for the office staff. Since this is the only Dunkin, it's where I go even though I've consistently encountered poor customer service, especially from an older gentleman who's never smiled, asked how I was and gives the impression that I, the customer, am a bother to his day. That finally changed today and that was because of the exceptional customer service from Pierce. He immediately smiled when each guest approached his register (even with the mask on, you could see and feel it). He was friendly, professional and treated every single guest with kindness and patience (and there was a line). That gentleman, who was there today and who I can only assume is management, could learn a few things from Pierce with regards to how customers should be treated. If Pierce is still with Dunkin when I come back to town, it's gonna be hard to not try and recruit him...
Read moreI was once a pretty regular customer at this place. I wanted to grab a coffee and get some work done at this location, but I had to run to the NAU library first. I parked my car in the Dunkin’ Donuts lot and was gone for maybe an hour. I came back pretty pumped to get some coffee, but was crushed when I found that a boot was placed on my vehicle. Shoot. I’m a pretty reasonable person so I get why it happened. The lot is not huge and there are a few businesses there. I call the towing company that placed the boot on there. I nearly lost my damn mind when they informed me that it would be $180 to have the boot removed. ONE HUNDRED AND EIGHTY DOLLARS. I’d be perfectly accepting of even half of that, but come on. The businesses that use this lot should be ashamed of themselves. I will never go to the Dunkin Donuts, chick fil a, jimmy johns, or smashburger on this property ever again. I’m disgusted that this how they would...
