Wow!! I don't even know where to start. We were in town for a JVA Volleyball tournament. The team of girls and parents went their after playing all day at the Duke Energy Center. We got there around 910pm since they close at 930pm. Fast food chinese we thought no big deal because everything for the most part is pre-cooked. Wrong!! The manager told us we had to take what was left out in the warmers under the glass. 75 percent of the dishes were gone and the manager Faith wasn't going to to cook any more dishes for the night. There were 3 other workers working. The cashier and two cooks in the back were great. The cashier was so nice and perplexed at her manager and was taking our orders. The manager tried to talk the cooks out of cooking and I heard the one cook say they were cooking and he and the other cook went to town. Besides this manager the other 3 workers were great. I just cant believe they have this manager running the the place. She was so rude it was unreal. Half way thru her tirade I told her she should just tell everyone in line to go home and lock the doors up if she is going to keep telling everyone they are out of this and that like white rice and fried rice. I told her she was has no customer service skills and a bad attitude and her response was that I had a bad attitude!! WTH!! So after about 10 mins of waiting for our food which was wrong by the way I went to grab the tray and was waiting to pay once I had my food. They asked what I needed so I tell them I haven't paid yet and the cranky manager said I thought you already paid. I am like no I haven't paid because she was to busy arguing with other customers. I could of been un truthful and had a free meal but I am not like that. I give this place one star because the girl (Bella)helping was very pleasant and the two cooks were no problems either. Just the manager was terrible and Panda Express better think about getting Faith some customer service training. Just because you close at 930pm doesn't mean you stop cooking!! We just spend almost $300 for a volleyball team and their parents and to get this service is beyond me!! Unreal and beware of Faith and don't go in there anytime after 9pm or risk getting some bad...
Read moreUpdate 10/22: now they only take online orders. Lol - its literally a stand around inside the restaurant while they make the food and everyone'sjust waiting and hoping there name will be called out next. The app times are also never accurate. Just WOW!
This place is going down hill. After a couple orders off the app, I've noticed recently upset customers & long pick up lines for online orders. The ETA'S for completion recently are not very well executed and not by just a couple min. Walk in customers order and cash out continuously while you wait. Hmmm Terani (spelling) very unprofessional cashier/line worker could use some customer service skills. After checking in, I waited patiently while 4-5 new customers came in and ordered and left. I merely asked why is it I ordered online 20 min ago (actually more like 13/15 min online and it was already 10 min past due) and walk ins are ordering and leaving? Simple question I thought. She got extremely rude and blurted out we have a process!!! I apologized for even interrupting her. Because she had a IDGAF attitude and got snippy with me, I said then follow your process. So with a condensending attitude asked my name so she could make rt now. I said follow ur process because obviously it is broken. The black lady that seems to yell around at everyone seems to dictate the culture here. I observe when I come here and she certainly sets the tone and most have adopted the same IDGAF attitude. I understand these times were in, but what about human decency and respect. I don't expect to get chastised at a panda express while picking up food, but here we are. One last thing, upon asking for her name to get it rt on the review, the comment Tierney made was that it doesn't matter they all got my back. Lol well if that isn't awesome. To the DM or corporate - This is what's going on inside this location with the current culture. Visit and review recent surveys. Used to be above 4 stars. Now not so much. Read moreIt was the first time I’ve ever been so I call for pick up. I asked for 1 order of beef and broccoli, and 1 order of honey walnut shrimp. They asked if I wanted rice or noodles and I assumed only of the meals came with a side if they were only asking for one side. So I said noodles and an extra side of rice. I get there and I said I was there for pickup and then she makes my order, that part was fine because I didn’t realize it was a bar setup but when she went to get the shrimp they were out and I placed the order 20 minutes prior of showing up so she should’ve known to get more ready. My next problem was I told them about 3 to 4 times that I wanted a separate order of beef and broccoli and a separate order of the shrimp but they still ended up putting the shrimp on top of the beef. This was really upsetting because they completely ignored what I was saying AND I’m a pescatarian. (meaning I’m a vegetarian but I also eat sea food) so when I told them for a 5th time these were 2 SEPARATE MEALS they literally took the beef and broccoli off the shrimp and gave me the shrimp that was previously covered in red meat. On top of all of that they seemed annoyed I was trying to get my correct order and acted like they had no time for me.
