Our experience on 1-29-2021 was HORRIBLE.... We had twenty one people in our party. I called one week in advance to reserve enough tables for the party. It was my daughter’s surprise eighteenth birthday dinner. I called the week of and the day of to make sure we were set. I was running ten minutes late. I received a call from a family member stating the host wouldn’t let them sit down due to me not being there. They spoke with the manager and was able to be seated. We had one server to start with. Then another server came. They took our drink orders which took us about thirty minutes to get. Some of us ordered croissants. The first set was given to a table that didn’t order them. For the ones of us that ordered appetizers. It took an additional forty five minutes. A new server brought the appetizers out. His shirt sleeve was in the appetizers with the way he was holding them. The first set of appetizers were cold. Only one person said theirs wasn’t cold. As we got the appetizers they were bringing out one and two at a time. As my table received our appetizers. One person in our party received their entree. Even though they order after half of us had put our order in. The sauce was on the rim of the plate and noodles were hanging off the plate. My brother asked for the manager. After forty minutes. The manager never came. The ones that ordered alcoholic beverages. Their drinks were being wasted as they brought them to the table. No one used trays to bring the plates or drinks. By the time everyone else got their entree’s we were just fed up. They were taking the entrees to the wrong table. One of the steaks that was ordered. Was charred and not done. It was supposed to be well done. But it was rare. When told about we were informed they would put it back on the grill. As burnt as it already was and you could smell the burnt ness of it. Who would want it. I myself ordered a full rack of ribs and a loaded baked potato. I received baby back ribs it wasn’t even a full rack. They put four baby backs ribs on the plate and cut three off another one. They also were burnt and smelled burnt. My baked potato wasn’t even loaded at all. I went to the desk to ask for the manager. They informed she as the table behind where we were sitting. They came in after us. And received the drinks in no time. And were being waited on by multiple servers. When I talked to the manager and was informing her of what was going on. She didn’t even come to our tables. I informed her I didn’t receive a full rack of ribs and the other issues. She said oh well that is the full rack. I told her about how long it took for everything. She just said okay we are getting your tickets ready. Then it took them another seem like an hour to get the tickets correct. They had food on our tickets no one had. Then as we were walking out. She told the table that came in after us and got their food quicker than us. That they didn’t have to pay their ticket. Even though we received wasted drinks, cold food, and took hours to get things corrected. We got there at six an didn’t leave until almost ten. Just know I will never go to Percy & Willies again. THANKS TO THE HORRIBLE SERVERS AND MANAGEMENT FOR RUINING MY DAUGHTERS EIGHTEENTH BIRTHDAY. WHERE SHE KEPT APOLOGIZING. BUT WE COULDN’T EVEN GET AN APOLOGY FROM THE SERVERS OR MANAGEMENT. IF I COULD GIVE ZERO...

As the parking lot was full, there appeared to be a small line of people waiting for dinner, P&W seemed like a reasonable dining option. However, as it turned out, this was a night we will not ever forget.
A modest 20 minute wait for a table seemed reasonable .. however that ultimately turned into 60 minutes. After we were finally seated it took another 20 minutes for the wait staff to appear and take drink orders. As we had been on the road all day, we ordered our main courses immediately and then, we waited, and waited, and waited, and waited. A side salad eventually showed up at least 60 minutes after we had placed our original order. The waitress apologized several times, so we know she had placed our order, but could not get it out of the kitchen. Easily 30 minutes later, three out of our four entrees showed up. Unfortunately, the fourth entree (shrimp scampi) did not show up for another 30 minutes (minimum) - and when it did, ice cold!
At this point the restaurant was well past its normal posted closing time, but still had a 1/2 to 3/4 full restaurant and many customers without completed orders.
The waitress apologized again - offered to reheat the scampi or substitute something else. As 3 out of 4 in our party had finished their meals, our fourth chose to pass on dinner altogether. Another waitress brought a bowl of soup as a partial substitute for the scampi, but it too was ice cold.
Finally, the General Manager started visiting multiple tables apologizing for the totally inadequate service, extraordinary delays and cold food. Her apology seemed much too well-rehearsed, as this was not the first evening she had recited it. Clearly, she was trying, but could not solve the problems alone.
Something is seriously wrong with this restaurant. I cannot in good conscious recommend it. This was probably the worst restaurant experience anyone in our party has ever had, none other was even close! Everyone working at P&W was polite, but they were also highly embarrassed about the quality of the food and the performance of...
Read moreAfter perusing our options, we decided to dine at Percy & Willies for our Easter meal. We had read the previous reviews and felt like this was a good choice. In no way were we upset about the wait to be seated, after all it was a holiday and COVID restrictions limited seating. We may have been a bit upset about the length of time it took to receive our meals, but again it is a holiday and we were all in good company. We honestly can't complain about the overall flavor of several of our dishes either, they were acceptable.
Unfortunately, we were upset and disappointed with the overall experience. The first issue came to our attention as two of the four ordered plates came to the table. We were just then advised that the Crab Cakes would not be available. Why was this not brought to our attention in a timely manner so another option could have been selected earlier? There was no way another option would now be prepared in time for one of our party to dine with the rest of the table.
The second issue was that the full rack rib plate was no where to be found. When it finally was brought to the table we were shocked to discover that the restaurant considers what amounts to a half rack to be considered a full rack. The manager was kind enough to hear our complaint over the portion size and discount the plate. Overall the quality the ribs themselves was not very favorable either.
The third issue dealt with a very basic food issue. Whoever was responsible for cooking the pasta in our dish has no understanding on pasta preparation. I would have guessed they were going for al dente, but unfortunately they ended up with undercooked and clumped pasta.
The cheesecake was enjoying and the Salmon Habanero was very favorable.
To sum it up, this was a memorable experience for all the wrong reasons. The experience fell very short of our expectations. We do not see ourselves returning nor will we be recommending Percy & Willies to...
