We were here 2 days ago on Saturday to stop for lunch. This was our first time here. Considering it was midday on a Saturday, I was surprised by how empty the place was. We got our pick of seating, so we sat in a comfy booth. They have piped in music, which was somewhat loud, but we could still hold a conversation. The decor is done beautifully in a lot of wood beams and window sills. I liked it because it felt like I was at a large ski lodge in the mountains. I ordered the French Dip sandwich with a scoop of white cheddar mash. It came with Cole slaw and au jūs. I was disappointed that the Beef was on the dry side and didn't seem seasoned. I tried using the table salt, but it was stuck and wouldn't come out of the shaker. A French baguette would really improve the sandwich as the bread that was used melted in the au jūs and fell apart. It was very messy. I love French dips, but I didn't fall in love with this one. The mash was bland and could've used some seasonings also. The Cole Slaw was good. This was the best cole slaw that I have tasted in a long time. I couldn't eat the other half of my sandwich and took it home for our chihuahuas. My daughter ordered the Kickin Chickin with sweet potato fries, sauces, and bread. She said that her meal could've used more seasoning and was just ok. Our server, Andrew, was very nice and helpful. He recommended the Smores dessert to us. It has a Ghiradelli chocolate bottom cookie, marshmallows, Graham crackers, and yummy vanilla ice cream. Wow, it was delicious!! We split it as there was enough for two people. All in all, we would go back and try other meal selections as we liked the ambiance of BJ's. It is a nice, clean place with a cozy but fun feel. The service was very good. Parking is right across the mall street with wheelchair accessiblability parking. There is outdoor seating also. Bj's is right next door to the Naked Taco restaurant.

Title: John Waited On Us, and Now We Believe in Angels Some people dine out for the food. We dine out for John — waiter, wizard, and possibly reincarnated from a line of royal butlers trained in a Himalayan monastery of hospitality. From the moment he approached our table, time slowed. Birds outside the window sang in harmony. A single sunbeam illuminated his notepad like a divine clipboard. John didn’t greet us — he blessed us with a presence so warm it toasted the breadsticks. His timing? Immaculate. The Michelangelo of meal pacing. It’s like he knew when we wanted appetizers before we even opened our mouths. By dessert, we suspected he might be reading our minds, but in the least creepy and most magical way possible. His laugh? Somewhere between a gentle rain on a summer evening and a jazz saxophone solo played by a friendly ghost. His posture? Noble. Graceful. I’m convinced he studied under Meryl Streep. And now, the promised haiku, to immortalize this service saint: 🌟 Fork poised, hearts lifted John dances through dining dreams Check arrives — we weep. 🌟 I tipped 40%. Not because I had to, but because I was emotionally compelled. Honestly, I’d tip again if I saw him in public just existing. To sum up: if you haven’t been served by John, you haven’t lived — you’ve merely chewed. Get the reservation. Ask for John. Bring tissues. You will laugh, cry, and possibly ascend. John is love. John is service. John is legend.

So I've got to say, I've had such great hopes for this place. It is conveniently located in Miami for me, it is conveniently located in the mall with ample parking. But the meals... Just haven't found a decent meal. I've tried the wings. They are large! But the sauces are way too sweet for me. Tried without sauce and they are okay, but I like sauce. In my opinion, buffalo wild wings has better wings. I've tried the chicken parmigiana... It was large! But it was just so uninteresting, untasty, and salty for me. The sauce was terrible, I couldn't even eat the sauce separately. And it is so strange, because they have a bread platter I got with marinara sauce that was absolutely delicious. Speaking of that, the best food I've had here is the bread with marinara sauce. The thing is, I've never been able to replicate it! One server hooked us up and it was phenomenal! I mean like really phenomenal. But other wait staff have said it isn't even on the menu. I've had the pretzel with cheese sauce. It was okay. Ample cheese. I've had a few other meals and appetizers, but it just hasn't been a write home experience. The cookie with ice cream is great! But get the kids size one for like five bucks, not the big one. Well, that's a personal position from a health perspective.

Got food poisoning on a night to remember - On Thursday evening 1/23/2025 around 9:45PM my family and I went out to this BJs location to catch up and celebrate my mom's successful battle against cancer. It was just the three of us who ordered. When our server came to the table he had very poor tableside manners and he was very hands off, no friendliness at all. The way he handled us made us feel like he just wanted to get his shift over with. He was prompt when he brought out of appetizers but when it came to the main course which was two deep dish pizza's, buffalo wings, some drinks, and I got the kick'n chicken with a side of steamed broccoli and sweet potato fries. Everything came out to over $200+ tip. The broccoli was cold and must have been sitting in the window for a while. When I squeezed it, slime and water came out. I asked him to make it again because the bread looked stale and the chicken smelled off. He asked me what's wrong with it, I shared with him what it was and he rolled his eyes. He took it back and claimed that he remade the sandwich. Everything else was still the same. They even took the same coleslaw and put it inside the sandwich, I knew this because the first plate had the slaw on the side. The bread came back a little warmer... but guess who woke up violently vomiting and on the toilet from 2AM till 7PM and had to be rushed to hospital to find out she got food poisoning due to e coli? This girl! I thought I was dying because I had to get up about every few minutes to go to the bathroom and the projectile vomiting was a new one. To make matters worse, I missed 3 days of work and I am still trying to replenish my liquids and electrolytes. Also, I had to pay for a brand new ticket to head back to Dallas because I couldn't board because of concern that it could be spread to others; doctor's orders. I will never eat here ever again. It's sad to say this because this is a place that my sister and I often go when we just want to talk or catch up when I'm in town. My brother, bless his heart, still tipped the guy quite a generous tip. If it were me I wouldn't have however we understand what it's like to be in the restaurant industry since our father was once a server. To the BJ's staff, if someone asks you to remake something it should be protocol to remake the food not heat it up. Please do not cut corners because this is how you lose high paying customers. Don't get me wrong, BJ's has great food but it will be a very long time before I consider going to celebrate again. Those of you who are looking to find some place nice, I wouldn't recommend coming around this time to obtain good service and if you do, please...

I had an incredible dining experience recently at BJ’s, largely thanks to our server, Oz. From the moment we were seated, Oz's attentiveness and friendliness set the tone for a wonderful evening.

Warm Welcome: Oz greeted us with a genuine smile and made us feel immediately welcomed. He took the time to introduce himself and shared a bit about the restaurant's specialties, which was a nice personal touch that made us feel valued as guests.

Knowledgeable Recommendations: When it came time to order, Oz was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. He patiently answered all our questions and offered excellent recommendations based on our preferences. His enthusiasm for the dishes was contagious, and we ended up trying several items he suggested, all of which were outstanding.

Attentive Service: Throughout the meal, Oz demonstrated perfect timing in his service. He checked in on us regularly without being intrusive, ensuring that our drinks were always full and that we had everything we needed. His attention to detail made the dining experience seamless and enjoyable.

Personal Touch: Oz also shared stories about some of the restaurant's signature dishes, which added a personal touch to our meal. He clearly had a passion for the food and a deep understanding of the restaurant's ethos, which enhanced our appreciation of the dining experience.

Final Touch: At the end of our meal, Oz presented us with a dessert suggestion that we simply couldn't resist. His enthusiasm made it feel like a special occasion, and we were delighted by the delicious treat. It was a thoughtful way to conclude our dining experience.

Conclusion: Overall, Oz made our visit to BJ’s truly memorable. His friendly demeanor, extensive knowledge of the menu, and attentive service elevated our meal to a whole new level. I highly recommend requesting Oz as your server if you visit—he truly embodies the spirit of great hospitality. I can’t wait to return and enjoy another meal with such...
