Very good, but I've noticed that in the last 10-15 years, everything is spicy. So much so, that my 7 year old can eat it I remember Chipotle when they first open, things were in spicy. If you wanted a spicing things up, you would just add the sauces. But everything is spicy in my opinion, the chicken, the carne asada, the steak, the barbacoa.
It's a shame that they still don't offer in-house dining. Many restaurants are starting to do this, realizing that this pandemic is not a pandemic. And please, make sure you do the research about the vaccine, you don't want to kill yourself six months to a year from now. Their order online or just walk in and stay in line and order is very fast and efficient. The food is tasty and fresh. It's pretty cool that Chipotle Cuts up all the vegetables by themselves, makes the rice by themselves, makes them eat by themselves, nothing is brought in Frozen truck and then put in the freezer and then reheated. On the contrary, everything is freshly made there. And that's the difference but that's this place apart from places like Pollo Tropical and other like establishments. The price for what you get for is a pretty good value. I like this restaurant much more than bolay. The carne asada that they use, I don't think it's outside flap , I think it's inside flap. Or the other way around. But it's marinated very well and soft and tender, but somewhat chewy. For me, it's not cooked enough. Kind of side I should be medium well done, and this is more like medium. There's just something off about it. Maybe it's because my ex-wife, who was Nicaraguan, would serve the best carne asada ever.
I still don't understand why they don't let in House dining, as many establishments are allowing in-house dining, as long as there's social distancing. These guys and girls work very hard, everything is made from scratch, so please make sure to tip them. I make sure the tip of your delivery drivers as well! Love your neighbors, as you...
ย ย ย Read moreA year ago I had a really bad experience where my food was raw. I spoke to an employee and they were rude. Called back and spoke to manager and they said next time I am in my burrito would be replaced. Fast forward 1 year. I go in to the store and explain to a manger. Not really expecting them to replace it but if they took my name down in theory it should still be in the log. I explain to manager A. Response, "Yeah no. That was too long ago and we are not going to honor that." ( I am also wondering if this log even exist. Maybe they could have at least looked...maybe) Manager B comes up during the story (which I didn't ask for but explain what I was saying since she walked up) and I explain the story again. She says sorry they can not honor it because it has been too long. I say okay no problem but you don't need to be rude about it as and I want to make sure my order is right. Manager A goes I wasn't being rude and manager B dismissed him to go in the back. I paid for my food and left. I called another store and asked to speak to a DM and the store in Ft Lauderdale (Randix was his name) he wanted to know why. I am not really sure why he would insist on knowing but after I explain the story again said he will let his manager know but they can't make the other DM call me since they are a different person. My ask is that your people either learn empathy or manners. I don't really care which, but if Manager A had even said sorry or had a different tone you wouldn't be wasting your time reading this email. I used to eat Chipotle 3 to 4 times per week when I lived in Overland Park and San Diego. The service at the location on Palmetto leaves much to be desired. I will say the one up by Linton and Dixie is much better. Palmetto is 2 minutes from my house. When my food was raw I stopped eating there for about 18 months. I wonder how long it will be this time. I contacted corp as well. My order was...
ย ย ย Read moreThis was an absolute disgrace. I walked into this Chipotle expecting a decent meal and walked out disgusted and insulted. What I was served can barely be called a portion. One small scoop of rice and a sad handful of chicken. That was it. I told the staff I would not be paying for that and walked out. No apology. No attempt to fix it. Just blank stares.
This is not a one time mistake. This is part of a clear and deliberate trend. Prices keep going up but the food gets smaller and smaller. What used to be a full, satisfying bowl is now a joke. There is no value left. The brand that once prided itself on fresh ingredients and generous portions has completely lost its way.
Chipotle used to stand for quality and consistency. Now it is just another greedy corporation cutting corners while hoping no one notices. But we notice. We see the portions shrinking. We see the service declining. We see the complete lack of care for customer satisfaction.
This is how you destroy brand loyalty. This is how you lose long time customers. Not because of one bad day but because of a pattern of decline that shows you no longer care. If your idea of growth is to charge more for less while delivering a worse experience, you are on the fast track to irrelevance.
I used to recommend Chipotle to everyone. Now I actively warn people to stay away. This place has become a scam wrapped in foil.
Do not waste your time. Do not...
