I am not generally the type of guy to write a review for a business until my feelings of it are swayed in a extreme direction, one way or the other. After several months of visiting this location (Powerline/Palmetto), I feel that I have spent enough time at this establishment to properly identify my feelings for the place. I am not alone when I say that the staff here are not pleasant in any form or fashion. They are always having conversations behind the counter that have nothing to do with their job, and they seem to be put out when a customer has any type of request with their order (or just ordering in general) that interferes with their social time. The cashier this evening (3.19.2016) with gray hair was very condescending when i thanked her for taking my order and she stated "I actuall prefer that you not thank me or speak to me." This is just my speculation, but i believe she did not prefer to conversate with me simply because of our difference in cultural backgrounds. 9 times out of 10 - if one of the Baristas is asked to add creamer or sugar to a coffee when placing an order they will refuse and say that it is the customers job to add those items. I could go on and on about the different experiences that deter me from wanting to visit. Please, Starbucks, do something about your staff. I usually am very happy with your staffing decisions; however, I am always disappointed with my experience at this particular location.

Read moreI had my first poor experience at this location today (2/24 @ 2:30 PM). I placed my order as usual through the app (for payment purposes only because I have my gift cards and other payment methods on there) and pulled up to the speaker box to let them know I had just placed on online order (1 normal Frappuccino, nothing fancy). There was absolutely no one in line. The girl who answered was nice enough, but then a dude interrupted and got on the speaker telling me that I needed to wait to pull up 5-10 minutes next time if I was going to order online. I ignored him at first because I was shocked actually. He then repeated himself and waited for me to validate what he was saying before moving on, like “can you wait next time if you’re going to order online, we’d GREATLY appreciate that” sarcastically. Like huh??? I place my order online every time and have NEVER had a barista give me rules for when I can use the app to order. Again, there was no one in line and I ordered 1 Frappuccino. What is the difference between ordering on the app and pulling into the drive through vs ordering at the speaker? He wasn’t even brave enough to say it to my face and had to use the speaker to hide behind to say it, I guess. Either way, not a huge deal obviously but very disappointed with this customer...
Read moreI have an online order to pick up, and I was in a hurry, so I entered the store to get my order and ask for a cup of water. There were 4 barist , 3 girls, and 1 guy chatting and laughing cheerfully, I spend more than 5 minutes trying to call the attention of them but they just pass beside me, ignoring me until tired the guy pass and I ask him if he can help me, incredibly his smiling face turn angry, I let him know that nobody pay attention to me , but with a lot of displeasure he ask me: what he can help me. I ask for the water and he began to serve the water with an angry expression the whole time and I was astonishing when he overfil the cup with ice dropping the water out and put the cup on the table still with and angry expression, never in my life I'm being treated that way and..... just for a cup of water!!! I always enjoyed going to Starbucks, and this is the first time to ended offended with the customer service of this store, I hope you really do something about this person, because is a downgrade for your company this happens on June 24 around 3:45 pm in the store # 8235-298748(Palmetto park & Montoya cir, Boca Raton), there were just one guy at that moment, he was skinny with dark hair I think that is enough information I hope you make the appropriate decision in this...
