Gateway Subs — Restaurant in Palmetto

Stopped in to check it out on a rainy 4th of July late morning. I found a variety of lunch sandwiches available, but I was happy to find a breakfast sandwich menu (which is also served all day). I tried "The Famous" featuring your typical breakfast sandwich items plus avocado and a little bit of hot honey sauce on a croissant. I must say this is one of the best breakfast sandwiches I've ever had. I was surprised to also discover a cold brew coffee available as well. This cold brew coffee was great. The friendly employee told me that they are a small operation that got started just over the bridge in St. Pete with just a few locations. So happy to support a local business. I'll be back for lunch and more of that...

Great sandwich shop. Lots of different varieties of subs. The Cool Ranch Dorrito sub was amazing. Staff were pleasant and knowledgeable. The store was very clean Great addition to the center; unlike their neighbor. Update: Came back for a 2nd visit. It was better then the first. Great employees, so friendly and they even remembered me from last time. This owner knows how to run a business. So many people coming in and out of this shop. Everyone was satisfied. Food is amazing, sometimes too much, if that's possible....

There were only four people there 2 staff, one customer (already ordered and sitting down) and my myself. Looked over the menu and told them what I wanted. The girl behind the counter started having a conversation with the customer sitting down and didn't acknowledge i was there. She did this for about a minute before I just walked out. They were talking about absolutely nothing, and making faces at each other. As I turned and started walking out she said what kind of bread do you want. Just rude...
