We had a family Christmas dinner. We met half way in Naples. We reserved a private room. Initially the food and the service were amazing. We had Logan and Lisa. The drinks were served and refilled promptly. The appetizers were hot and well cooked. The soups were amazing. Then it went downhill. I am particular about a steak especially when paying 100-200 for it. I told them I like a warm red center and if it comes pink I will send back. Out of the 7 people that ordered steaks only one was correct. My husband and nephew switched theirs to make them to their liking as one was too done and one not done enough. My mother in law and me had it recooked and they came out medium-medium well again. Most of the sides were overcooked. My sister in laws sea bass was overcooked. I think they just left everything underneath the light because the plates were extremely hot to serve everybody at once rather than serving properly cooked food when it was prepared. When the manager came in, my father-in-law asked, what temperature do you consider a warm red center and his response was medium. Any quality steakhouse knows that a warm red center is a little less than medium rare. Medium rare at the worst. I ended up not eating any steak as my mother-in-law did not either. They did deduct these from our bill and offered us free dessert but the last hour and a half of our experience I had to refill my water glass four times and ended up just putting the pitcher on the table so everyone could refill their water glasses. we ran out of cocktails with no one asking. It was an extremely disappointing experience from a restaurant that I know is a high-quality restaurant and the managers response to what a warm red center was just amazing . He should not be managing a high-end restaurant if he thinks a warm red center is supposed to be cooked medium. The steaks which most cost 140 dollars (my husbands did) were about 1/2 inch think. My bone in filet that was overcook twice was slightly thicker. No where near an inch thick. I have had many great dining experiences at Flemings around The state, but all of us driving over two hours to experience the inadequate quality and service of this food, as well as the manager was extremely disappointing and frankly I was surprised. And for the record for 11 people our bill was $2600 not including tip so it’s not like we ordered low end choices...

Flemings Prime Steakhouse, Tamiami Trail, Naples, Fl., Here is my 2 cents on the food and chatter.
I go here on holidays such as fathers day. Because they open early at 1000 hrs.
This is fine dining at the best...But you pay to be fawned over.
The food is excellent along with the service.
I got a Cesare salad, creamed spinach and the 36 ounce tomahawk steak , medium rare naturally.
Each portion was brought in a timely matter. Plus my drink, a lemonade was replaced when it got to half empty.
It was a hour and half restful and tasty meal. Plus plenty to take home.
So for a wonderful meal though pricey come here.
My server Seairre was beyond outstanding.
Fleming's Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar, Tamiami Trail, N., Naples, Fl., Here is my 2 cents on the food and chit chat.
Extraordinaire Meal !!
I went here for the Father's Day Brunch. It started at 1000 AM.
(I was so relieved it started early...I hate with a passion driving after 1 PM with these moronic floridians so call drivers.)
BUT it is worth the danger for this fine meal.
I got a gin & tonic. ( 12 bucks ehhh) I order the tomahawk steak. Medium rare of course, a Caesar salad, biscuits,( its brunch) a side order of cream spinach, and a NY cheese cake with fresh blue berries and House made FRESH whip cream + a side cup of whipped cream.
The biscuits were hot flaky. MMMM.
Then the salad. I will say the only disappointment was my salad. I thought the cheese and prosciutto were sliced too big. Plus it just did not ring my taste buds.
The cream spinach did ring my bell. AAhhh.
Now the main attraction. The Tomahawk,
A Presentation !!!
They bring to your table, a holder of top of the world steak knives. ( see pic ) ie. German, Japanese, American.
And/or they present the steak on a cutting block that a Chef will slice for you. I chose my knife and sliced it myself.
The steak was well marbled and you could almost use a butter knife to carve it.
It melted on the tongue.
I was in CARNIVORE HEAVEN....if there was a heaven.
I barely had room for the cheese cake.
Cheesecake was marvelous & whipped cream was perfectly sweet.
This topped off an Extraordinaire meal.
My server Charles was 5 diamonds service. Plus I was greeted by the head honcho.

Read moreFood fantastic, service not so good. Ambiance was blah. Actually my second time here. First time was years ago, and only for drinks at the bar. We were there last night for a prefix, prepaid investment dinner of approx 18 people. Walking up they are under major construction/renovation, which is never pleasant to look at. We were shown directly to a room right off the the entrance. (I never went to see the rest of the place.) The room had ZERO ambiance. When I went into the small room I was very rudely scolded by one of the servers for going to a chair and not signing in, while my husband was signing us in. I told her my husband was signing us in and she still went on about it. Followed me to my seat to keep scolding me!Not a good start. Meanwhile other people were doing the same thing as we were. The second server just waited for everyone else to be seated and we passed the pen and paper around and signed in. Situation handled by calmly by server #2. Some received drinks right away, others not. My husband and our friends were the nots. We later learned that we could have had any other wines/drinks, but the servers only offered us Cabernet or Chardonnay. The food was great and all came out at the same time, and was hot. That part was good. I will give them that. After dessert, which was good, the servers started to clean up/doing busy work. They must store things in that private rooms. There were big tablecloths?they were moving around, opening cabinets, etc, but not doing anything more for us. Everyone wanted a touch more wine-Our friend got up and poured wine around the entire table. None of the servers were around to do it. We were all aware of the time, but not a good way to represent your restaurant and get repeat customers. Good food was not enough to make up for the poor server and lack of ambiance in the private room. Those are fixable, BUT-There are too many other good steak houses around to go to! Food: filet/crispy potatoes👍🏽 Creamed spinach👍🏽asparagus👎🏼 Decided it wasn’t worth my time to...
