Island Gyro Express — Restaurant in Santa Rosa Island

I had the privilege of eating at the most adorable little food truck tonight in Ft. Walton Beach, Florida. I have anaphylactic food allergies and TJ, the owner, was so kind and welcoming. My food allergies almost always prevent me from being able to eat. But TJ took time to talk with me in detail about my dietary needs and then made a couple of recommendations with a couple of minor adjustments. He recommended the Greek Salad minus the tomato’s and pepperoncini’s. He even made me a custom dressing of olive oil and fresh lemon juice to pour on my salad. He also allowed me to read the ingredients on the pita bread and shared the ingredients in the tatziki sauce with me. To my delight, I was able to eat the tatziki sauce with pita bread too. I ate like a queen tonight!! The salad was absolutely delicious but the tatziki sauce stole the show. TJ’s tatziki sauce is the best I’ve ever had!!! Had chicken gyro with unseasoned fries, chicken was edible not enjoyable, pita bread broke apart so I had to eat with a fork (I’m 80% sure this pita is from Costco, it’s very thick like regular bread) .
