What a great meal and visit and service If I gave it a title it would be

Moe’s vs Chipotle’s Hands down Moe’s win, I went to Chipotle on Sunday because of the advertisement of the Garlic Guajillo Steak, I was so disappointed, the steak was being advertised as tender it was tough, on the pop it shows guacamole, I believe it’s $2.39 more, their meal does not come with tortilla chips it’s extra. Salsa I believe they had one flavor. I didn’t order a beverage because we were doing kinda a picnic and we had our cooler. I paid around $19.

Now Moe’s because Chipotle’s didn’t satisfy my cravings I went to Moe’s the next day, I will say it’s Monday, so Moe’s Monday’s I got I believe it’s called the ship-wrecker, BOY SO GOOD, I got a burrito that was 1.5 • larger, guacamole that shows on the picture was included, chips included, beverage included, I added a cookie, it all cost around $9. And probably 4 sauces that I loved.

Did I mention that I got probably twice the amount of chips at M.. and they were great, I love tortilla chips but I threw at least half of C..away In over half of the food. At M… I had so much food with that big burrito that was so good, I for a moment wished I could eat like I could 20 years ago.

Btw Chipotle’s was in Destin, Moe’s in Pensacola on Davis Highway.

Oh yes I called before I got there with a few questions and even with it being 15 minutes before closing, they had time for me on the phone and in person.

My partner and I come to Moe's generally once a week to catch their Monday deal. It is always relatively busy that day and the employees do a great job of keeping the line moving and getting the customers in and out with their food. I wanted to leave a review to make sure I commended this location for consistently delivering quick, friendly service and consistently delicious food. The employees work well together and are a well oiled machine. My partner and I typically split one homewrecker bowl and the chips and salsa it comes with because the portion of food you get at Moe's is substantial. I always ask for onions, peppers, mushrooms and sour cream on the side and the employees have always been more than willing to accommodate my request and never make me feel like I am a burden or inconvenience.

The real reason I am leaving this review however is to comment on two stand out employees who have made an effort to greet me and my partner every time we come in and who are very personable and kind and thoughtful and truly just shiny gems who need to be rewarded for their customer service skills and contribution to the wonderful atmosphere at Moe's. Stephen and Amanda are both stand out employees! I hope they are recognized for providing excellent customer service and for making our visits to Moe's memorable and enjoyable. 🙂 The two of them deserve to be congratulated/rewarded for their efforts....

I feel a bit bait and switched. There was a sign at the front stating that if you downloaded the app, you would get a burrito and chips and a small cheese cup for 7.99. That did not happen. So either misunderstood the ad, or this location doesn't honor it. Other than that, on July 29, 2024 my sister, her friend, and I dined at this location. Some staff members seemed overwhelmed, the food was good but not great, and the atmosphere seemed more workplace break room than a fast food restaurant. I'm not sure how to change the atmosphere, I'm no interior designer. The food could maybe use less spice on some items and more flavor in others. I had a burrito with chicken, black bean, brown rice, cheese, and corn. The rice acted like a filler, the beans were weak in flavor, cheese was not visible, corn was a bit more tasty than the beans, and the chicken was the grand flavor outdoing all the other ingredients. However, the chicken tasted like their beef. Is all the meat flavored the same? My sister only had chips and cheese but her friend had the Southwestern plate and she said it was eh and only ate half. I don't frequent Moe's often and this reminds me why. Overall: an okay place to eat for $10- $15 per person with a good deal of food. I would put them more on the level with McDonalds and Burger King and less...
