Update:6/30/25 ~Glad I gave them another chance! The owner was right, been coming for the past 6months & they've completely turned things around! They have warm, friendly and fast staff whenever I pop in & have the fried empanadas I love soo much & the girl Yanet & the other I forget her name smile whenever I come in & know my colada order before I say a word. The experience I had documented below is like a completely different atmosphere and leadership. I can highly recommend this location now. They're on point❤️🔥
Old review 👇 It wasn't warm or friendly like the others, nor did they have a simple norm of fried chicken empanadas at 730am on a Saturday morning in Miami, I even went back a 2nd time the same morning it was super slow service only 2 people working on a Saturday morning is wild for this area, it's the closest to me but I will drive farther to the others as I am beyond disappointed in the service, food quality was meh & the cortadito was lukewarm, I'm super shocked at that experience, can you believe someone was power washing in front of the door during breakfast time on a Saturday morning in Miami, is diabolical, I'm still in disbelief at how terrible my whole experience was & it's a newer location so I really don't...
Read moreI work at the University of Miami so the bakery is relatively close and on my way to work. I have had the pleasure of not only grabbing my much needed coffee in the mornings, but being able to order breakfast as well lunch from this Pinecrest location. The girls as well as the manager are ALWAYS sweet and attentive. The food ALWAYS fresh and made with love. I'm someone who loves ordering wraps and they are always patient and kind enough to create any kind of wrap that I ask for.
From the moment I walk in, I'm always greeted with warm smiles and a welcoming atmosphere. The staff always goes above and beyond to make sure my experience is nothing short of perfect. They're always attentive, friendly, and truly care about the needs of their customers, especially their regulars.
Aside from the delicious pastelitos and comfort food, one of the best parts about this franchise is its family-oriented environment. The staff is small but close like a family and as such treat their customers as they would treat their own families.
I highly recommend this location to anyone looking for great food, exceptional customer service, and a...
Read moreVery Disappointed I arrived at Pinecrest Bakery on 57th Avenue at 6:20 AM, only to find the store being cleaned with a strong smell of bleach. Although your posted hours say you open at 6:00 AM, the situation was chaotic and unwelcoming.
One employee initially told me to come in, but another completely ignored me. After waiting for three minutes, she finally asked her coworker, "Did you tell her to come in?" When the coworker confirmed she had, the second employee abruptly said, "No, we are closed."
Frustrated, I decided to go to the 67th Avenue and Dixie location instead. The service there was excellent and on target. When I brought my husband his café con leche at the hospital and told him about the incident, he replied, “I don’t know why you would even go there. I’ve been there twice past 6:00 AM, closer to 6:30 AM, and they’re never ready.”
A note to the manager: please consider updating your posted hours to avoid this unpleasant experience and train your employees on proper...
