I have been a loyal Starbucks customer for years and I was so happy they finally built one in the Sanford area after losing them at the mall. Sadly the two times I have visited this location the service I received from a few employees was just downright disrespectful, rude & condescending. I do not enjoy giving bad reviews and I truly hope they can do better in the future but a few tips ladies, if your scanning equipment isn't working correctly or you just can't get the right angle for it to scan use a little common sense & have patience it will work eventually! You should never shift blame on the customer by saying it must be something wrong with their phone or tablet, they aren't holding it correctly or Starbucks equipment sucks. Next, and this is more for the managers or supervisor, you are responsible for making sure the customer has been satisfied or using your judgement to ensure a genuine request to service is answered like honoring a simple free cup of coffee to a veteran who was confused about the holiday change this year and came a day late. Again common sense should tell you it was a genuine request and should have been honored & not someone complaining about their drink and trying to get another $7 latte for free. My drinks are not always correct so itâs a bit of a hassle to get to work and have to tweak your own drink. 60 cent line the cup with caramel is almost always forgotten. $1.25 extra foam never looks like extra but I donât know the measurements so I try not to make a fuss. I do however get all my tall drinks put into a venti cup⌠not to get extra drink but to be able to just add ice through out my day at work. Sometimes they do it sometimes they donât.I always order through the mobile app for things to go faster which is great because I can just pull up and go but I do wish that my drink would look and taste the same every time I go. It is this one lady in the mornings that work drive thru. Sheâs an ANGEL. She always makes me feel comfortable to be able to tell her when my drink is not right. Fingers crossed my drinks can only get better tho because I love coming here...
   Read moreWhat a terrible experience. This store is notoriously busy and seemingly understaffed so I always place my order ahead of time through the app and walk into the store to pick it up. I waited nearly 20 minutes after I had already placed the order 10 minutes prior to my arrival. I said âexcuse meâ several times to ask about the status of my drinks only to be ignored each time. Finally I got a baristaâs attention to find that two of my drinks were made and sitting by the drive through window completely melted (one was a blended drink) and they never even made the third drink so I had to wait even longer for them to make it. Not only was the service not what I know Starbucks strives to provide but they acted inconvenienced by my asking where our drinks were and then having to make the one that was forgotten.
