Upon entering Deckhand Social PCB, the breathtaking view of the boats and marina immediately struck us, promising an enchanting dining experience. Little did we know that this experience would be elevated to an entirely different level by Zack, our server for the night.

Zack deserves every commendation possible. He is, quite simply, the embodiment of exemplary customer service. Attentive to every detail and constantly ensuring our satisfaction, Zack's dedicated service created an atmosphere that was both comfortable and engaging. His warm demeanor and professional etiquette left a lasting impression, making our dining experience a truly memorable one.

Zack's expertise regarding the menu was equally impressive. His recommendation of the oysters was spot-on. Fresh, succulent, and bursting with flavor, they were the finest we have tasted. The grouper bites, a suggestion from Zack, turned out to be an absolute delight, a perfect blend of crispness and tenderness that left us wanting more.

The pièce de résistance of the meal, however, was the she-crab soup. With every spoonful, we were transported into a world of rich flavors and culinary excellence. It was a unanimous decision at our table: there's just no topping it!

Beyond the delectable food, the ambiance of the restaurant, characterized by its casual sophistication, complimented the stunning marina views, rounding off a perfect dining experience.

We've been twice in the off-season after a few hours at the beach and sat outside by their pool. If you are a local make sure you get their locals only card for 25% off every visit!

Service great and staff friendly.

Food great. My favorite thing so far is the sweet potato casserole. I bought extra both times to take home and have for next meal. I feel like their menu has just enough of the standard seafood items at every single restaurant in town but a few different items too.

Ambiance great. The inside decor is more high end coastal and not campy beachy like Schooner's (that's not bad but just a different vibe). The exterior patio is clean but the table and chairs could use a good pressure washing. Lots of TVs if you are into watching sports. It isn't on the water but near the water. You can't see much of it while there since they are loading boats in/out of the marina but you do get to see a lot of boats. That moving of boats can also get very noisy. I can imagine that during the busy season it would be loud with kids and adults in the pool too so we will likely stay away during that time and also because there is very little shade out there. Summer will be hot at hell on that patio deck with no shade. Maybe they could put fans and table umbrellas up for our long summer heat.

The only thing I REALLY didn't like was the people vaping near us. Had they not been there we would have stayed and drank some more. Call me weird but I don't want to inhale toxic chemicals while I eat. Kids were around too. If you want to smoke peppermint chemicals that's fine but don't do it near me. Next time I'll make sure to ask them not to sit us...

We walked in and was the only 2 upfront and no hostess in sight! She came up 2-3 minutes later on the phone and did not acknowledge us while on the phone another 2-3 minutes. The two of us were seated at a 6 top at the outside bar. We sat for 20 minutes and was never approached by the server! We then saw a 4 top get up and leave across the pool so we went and sat at their table which needed cleaning and we were fine to wait for that and didn’t mind at all. we sat another 20 minutes with three different servers, coming to tables right beside us and just giving us glared stare. Then a server came out and started cleaning the table next to us as we sat there at a dirty table. She went to leave that table and I got up and very nicely asked her if we could get a server. She said no you have to be seated by the hostess and I said we were and then we moved over here because the music was very loud and we were never waited on and this is a smaller table. She said that she would go get the hostess. A minute later the manager came out and was so rude. He scolded us like we were two children. After he was through scolding us, he walked to the table next to us and started to clear it and we were both like wow so we got up and left and will never go back. We are locals and we have visited several times and it has been wonderful, but the manager and the staff is horribly rude.
