Waitress was very nice and we chose her suggestions of the house ale and my partner picked the spicy cocktail. Also the burrata plate which was a harmony of flavors but did require thoughtful assembly of each bite. For our entrees, My partner ordered wagyu sliders and was worried the patties were well done. I explained thats probably because they are so thin. However I can understand the disappointment because the flavor of a tender beef like wagyu certainly cooks away when well done. We shared a side of fries and they were delicious and crispy i likened them to McDonald’s fries with regards to flavor. I ordered the crab and lobster cakes. As alumnus in town for homecoming weekend, the staff around visors (outside of bartenders) and the non-private event crowd were aggressively unwelcoming and really stained our first visit experience to visors/spurriers that we had been excited to have for over a year. We love spurrier, and we love the gators. But we do not love unwelcoming experiences from older patrons that see us...
