Waffle House — Restaurant in Florida

OMG! I have never been to any restaurant who has service as flawless as this one! I wish I could more stars. As someone that pay close attention to detail..this waffle house blew me out of the water. Kim was an awesome server and when we told her she stated that she had been with them for over 20 years i believe and it showed. EACH person working had their uniform on perfectly (true definition of uniform) no mater how tall, short, fat, or skinny EVERYONE looked presentable and perfect in their waffle house gear. Each person smiled when eye contact was made, each of our silverware could have been a perfect mirror! The stainless steel fridge cabinets underneath the counters were shining (polished) and clean (this is very important when a restaurant actually takes he time to take care of their stainless steel, not just wipe with a rag). We were SO impressed. We even met the district manager (i cant recall her name) but she is waffle house famous im sure (been with them over 35 years, first lady regional ever, the list goes on). I couldnt believe the service and I was so impressed that a superior of her status was WORKING not barking orders at staff on a SATURDAY morning on MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND when she could be on the beach or out of town was there and still had time to welcome us and hold conversation for over 20 MINUTES. I loved it and I wish that I could come to this waffle house every weekend but I live in Memphis TN. The list of great things could go on forever. Something that you may not know about the Awful Waffle is that the food is usually excellent. From previous Waffle Houses I've eaten over the decades, I enjoy the food. This place is no different. I'm an over forty year old guy, and I know what I like. As such, I get the same thing whenever I go. Recently, however, the cost has gone up substantially. They add multiple add-on charges for take out orders. My order is usually about four dollars more in addition charges. I discovered this because instead of take-out, I just dined in, and when I got the bill, it was reasonably priced. This was an excellent breakfast, no photos because I didn't think to take any. It's not convenient for me to usually dine in. But I'm insulted that Waffle House as a company wants to charge me four dollars more just to package it for take-out. This rant is nothing against this particular location. As I said, I had an excellent time here. Also, they have EV charging stations here, too....

I wanted to get sprite but didn't have enough money so I got water and tipped well they were having a conversation personal and I told them some stories and pomes and I asked them if I could ask a very important question and I would like their feedback I asked them why is it no one wants me when all I want is to make somebody's eyes smile and just you know dedicate my life to make her say wow like a little girl seeing fireworks for the first time because that's what I value well the conversation ended and after awhile one of them told me it was time to leave they didn't need the space the place was empty but I leave later on when I come back I get service and say I'm not allowed to be there no more and I have to leave and I have to. Leave what did I do to deserve that what's worse they are still in a toxic relationship...
