Wawa — Restaurant in Florida

I have enjoyed visiting this Wawa for several months and using the touchless Self Checkout. However, this morning was a Human Trafficking experience. I noticed a customer hovering over the creamers as I went to pour my 1st cup of freshly hand prepared with Tender Love & Care coffee for the day. I thought nothing about it. Then the Self Checkout would not allow me to simply scan my cup of coffee. Then another customer stepped up and starting scanning his items on the Self Checkout that I had just attempted to use. I thought I would do the smart thing and tell a cashier that the 2 scanners were not working. Then instead of the 2 store employees telling me to just select the beverage I was purchasing on the screen; as I have in the past but I was still a little sleepy the man decided that he wanted to take charge of my Self Checkout by touching the screen. Then it also boiled down to him asking to hold my 1st cup of self poured coffee of the day; when he asked if he could hold my cup of coffee. I refused, at this point my first instinct to pour out the cup of coffee once again became a reality. He realized that my mind was not still set on stupid and decided to ALLOW ME to finish paying for my coffee by finally walking away. The few times this has happened I have had my wonderful store and laundromat bull dozed down and a CVS built in it's place so that someone can buy more drugs. Please tell the cashier that wanted to hold my 1st cup of coffee for the day to practice giving verbal instructions first before cutting into the customers Self Checkout...

I’m a regular at this Wawa and, if you’re coming inside for food (no matter what time of day), plan to wait 45mins to over an hour for your food. Whether you’re doing a mobile order or ordered inside they will take AGES. I placed a mobile order this morning at 8:37 that was supposed to be ready at 8:47. I got to the Wawa at 8:50 and there was no order, it’s a Saturday morning and we’re right next to I4 so they’re a little busy, I understand. I wasn’t upset that it wasn’t ready, I expected it. I got half of my order, and when I asked about the other half, they scrambled around looking for it and basically ended up telling me to get the rest myself. Which is fine, I’m not lazy, but they could’ve been more attentive to the order, like they seemed to not know at all where it was. I ordered a donut, they were out, but the girl who I’m assuming was maybe the kitchen manager was actually really nice and quickly restocked it. So anyway I didn’t get back in my car til 9:30, almost an hour later. I will say that the service I receive is nice, the staff hasn’t been rude to me and are willing to help if I need it, but the lack of communication and sense of urgency is what’s making this Wawa go downhill. Good things I will say is that their coffee was really hot and tasted fresh, they are quick to help if you ask, and honestly the food is okay, and this is why I gave 2 stars. If I could give this store ZERO stars I would. First off we get there at 4:45am to grab a quick bite and a ice coffee. After waiting for 25 mins after ordering and paying I got my food (a breakfast bowl) eggs were hard and rubbery one slice of bacon cut in half and cheese. In a huge bowl that literally couldn't feed a child. I sat and waited for my wife's food and my coffee. After 40 mins of waiting my wife (Sargeant in the military mind you) loudly asked if someone was making iced coffee orders. (One guy ahead of us and ours) the gentleman working in that section on 8-1-21 at that time loudly expresses yes but the last shift didn't leave him any coffee and he was trying. (40 mins) so we gave him benefit of the doubt. Still have not received my wife's 2 breakfast burritos. After 50ish minutes the gentleman ahead of us says sir, are you making the coffee's? Then the guy says no I can't make any ice coffee. WHAT!! now I went outside to eat my horrible food as it was already cold. My wife DTILL after 50mins had not received her burritos and now he says he can't make coffee without informing anyone?. What the hell Wawa SHUT FIWN THIS LOCATION.
