Horrible service, We will not be back ever again. Tonight I have done something I have never done in my 32 years on this earth. I actually had to cancel our order and leave without eating our full meal because of the wait.
When we arrived at 3:00pm we were told there would be around a 25-30 min wait for our party of 7 ( 4 adults and 3 children over the age of 5), no big deal. We were sat at our table around 3:30 give or take a few minutes.
Another group that came in after us was set at the adjoining table. They had a party of similar size. They were almost immediately waited on by a staff member, had their drink order taken and were served the complementary bread. It was about 10 minutes after they had received their drinks that our waitress even greeted us at our table. Red flag # 1.
We placed our drink order, appetizer, and meal orders at the same time because we had plenty of time to look over the menu before even seeing our waitress for the first time. It took our waitress almost 15 minutes to bring us our drinks. The Blooming Onion came to us at a reasonable time but that was it. The neighboring table that was seated AFTER we were had already received their meals before our salads were even brought to us.
While were were waiting and before our salads were delivered another group of 4 were seated in the booth behind our table and they even received their meals before us.
At 5:00pm, One hour and thirty minutes after we were seated at our table we still had not seen our food so we asked the waitress to cancel our order and we would like to pay for the app, drinks, and side salads we had eaten because we were tired of waiting for our meal. We had seen 3 separate tables that were seated after us receive their food and were almost done eating by that point. The manager comped our drinks, salad, and appetizer and apologized for the wait and we left still hungry. 0/5 stars if I could. Do...
Read moreThis location does not deserves one star, my family of five waited over an hour for our meals and we were then told that the ticket was never turned in. A waitress came by and said the printer went out and our order had never been turned in, then our waitress came by and stated a lot of orders were turned in at the same time, but it’s coming. Then that sent a waitress of color to mold it over, lol!!! Then the Manager came by and ask how we were doing like she didn’t know what was going?? She then said we can box it to go for you, I said no thank you we will pay for our drinks please bring out check. She then stated we are almost done with your food the printer went out. I asked why the different stories from different staff members and she never said a word and gave no explanation, just a stare like “I’m waiting for them to go HAM but oh my their nice and not upset”. I again stated with a smile “no thank you please bring out check”. She then offer to take care of the meals and again I said no thank you. Now what we did notice where several parties who was seated after us received their meals?? Hmmm not pulling the race card but we were the only family of color in there at the time. But I’m certain it was just a coincidence. You never know who’s who... We are owners of several businesses; don’t be fooled by someone’s outer appearances. We didn’t want it even after it was offered free. I insisted we pay for our drinks and left a small tip to send a message. Also, to the customer seated across from us, who added her ignorant two cents, people of color don’t only eat chicken; we placed five orders and chicken was not one of them. We were passing through but will never stop their again. People...
Read moreI can no longer recommend this establishment. This past evening, my wife and I tried to dine here. We put our name on the list using the online site. Once we arrived, we were greeted by 4 people standing at the reception desk. One lady informed us it would be 45 minutes because they were short handed. I took notice in the restaurant that they may have been a third of capacity, it that. Literally, the parking lot was very sparse. I even commented to my wife about it as we were able to park in the front door. I ask if they had received my name for the waiting list? Answer.. no. No, because as they are checking, and laughing because they can’t get it to work. It was during that period, I finally received my confirmation text that I was on the list. At this point, she tells me, it will be 20 to 30 minutes. Really?? There are 4 people standing around doing nothing, plenty of empty tables, EVERYWHERE.. and you are going to make me wait? After your screwups? And, you just standing here in the front door as a group just doing nothing? To make this worse, this was the second time this has happened to us this month. This place used to be good, but they are going downhill fast. My wife and I chose to leave and dine elsewhere. We chose Rain Cains right down the street. They were packed!! But, the line moved quick, and they were very nice and polite. Thanking us for our business. So, Outback Flowood… done with you. Your beef is no better than the one I can get at my grocery store. This outback is not worth waiting 45 miutes for anything they serve. They are not that important. My advice, go somewhere else where they care about...
