(2022 update) still being covid safe but this year my review is on the staff as they had an extremely challenging night with another family that was hoarding all the food. Every time a new item was set out this family would bombard the buffet and the staff just threw it into high gear and started spitting out more food then even they could eat. And they did so perfectly and professionally
(2021 update) they are doing an excellent job at keeping the food protected from people with plexiglass as well as having the staff face masked. They place the food you select onto a plate and hand it over the plexiglass. Still no change in my original 5 star review (Original review is below) Food was good, service was excellent. My kids love wasting money on those claw games where the claw drops add an attempt to scoop up stuff that is usually too large or heavy. , Well 1 of my kids got one on the first try, my 2ndtheirhere 2nd, my 3rdtheirhere 1st but my 4th which happens to be my oldest at 10yrs old kept failing. One of the employees swooped in during his last game with only seconds left on the count down, grabbed the controller, moved the claw over about half an inch, and scored. All 4 of my kids left smiling. Last year my daughter left crying because of this...
Read moreWent to dinner at Cici's tonight. The food was good. But this is more about the employees. Standing at the buffet getting my food and I caught a bit of the exchange between the kid behind the counter and his manager. It was about how another employee, a female had go to time bathroom. The manager was upset about it because it's policy to ask permission. The the male employee tried to be discreet when he responded with "but she got her period" The managers responded with he didn't care, policy is policy. And as a store manager myself I can understand his stance. But as a woman, if I got my period I'm not tracking down my manager. I'm going to grab my feminine product of choice and heading to the bathroom. Knowing you're bleeding and having to ask your boss for permission to handle it doesn't seem like good policy. I know there could be more to this situation than the 30 seconds of exchange I got to witness, but for all it's worth not having to ask permission to not bleed all over ones self seems like a good place to start. Or maybe figure out in a less public setting why one of your employees isn't where...
Read moreLet me take a second to RAVE about Kaitlyn at CiCi’s Pizza in Foley, Alabama because she is an absolute treasure!!
We were just there enjoying our visit when Kaitlyn noticed my youngest just a baby and completely unprompted, she came out with the sweetest, most thoughtful gesture. She personally had a custom pizza-pasta made just for him — without us even asking! It was like she saw him, and just wanted to make him feel special. My heart absolutely melted!
This wasn’t just great customer service — it was genuine kindness. She didn’t have to do a thing, but she went out of her way with such joy and care that it honestly left us speechless. My kids lit up, and it turned an ordinary dinner into a great last night memory.
She made us feel so seen, so welcome, and so cared for like family. And that kind of customer service? That kind of kindness? That’s rare. The world needs more Kaitlyns.
CiCi’s, if you’re reading this give that woman a raise, a crown, and a parade. She’s a gem, and because of her, we’ll be talking about this visit forever. Thank you, Kaitlyn you made our day...
