Wait time for seating was told to be 30 minutes - we got seated in 40 after watching a few others walk in and get seated before us as one group was joking about the hostess and her both working at Cracker Barrel for a short time together - the Hostess told her she would seat them NOW. Seated we then WAIT for coffee - WAIT for water and the put our order in --- We waited an HOUR and only got our food to come to the table after asking again - Then the food came out in stages - one of our party got her plate of bacon first - it sat there while she waited for the rest of her order - the other two finally get their food placed while I still wait - and I had the TRADITIONAL BREAKFAST --- nothing special about it at all. I touch my food and it is cold - another party in our group did the same. I refused my food and sent it right back - a "server" (bad description) yelled at me as I asked for a manager - she yelled don't blame me we are employees not managers. Very unprofessional. Then I ask for more coffee - more water and we have to wait - I ask for a second time for a manager - still nothing. We complain to our waitress again - she is so nice and apologizes --- says she will get a manager - Well an operations manager comes forth and as I then asked for a general manager - she explained or tried to that the GM was on the cook line in the kitchen and she really had no explanation as to why we waited for an hour for food - or why the GM couldn't come out on the floor and confront this situation of horrible service - food and totally ruined our Saturday. I then asked for a card of this floor or operations manager and she said she didn't have one but she could get me one for the GM. I thanked her and she brought one. She went on to say that we would not be charged for our meal - I never even got mine - the one guest took his home and warmed it up in a microwave while the others ate room temp french toast. Justin Phillips is the General Manager of this location and as far as I am concerned he was a true coward in hiding in the kitchen while his staff took all the bullets of a horrible experience. We were not the only ones - but others now in America are used to horrible customer service - something I will NEVER BE HAPPY WITH. We left - and as I did I asked my waitress if she could generate a zero ticket so I could leave her a tip - she tried but then had to charge me 1.75 for Pure Maple Syrup so I could then leave her a 20 dollar tip - Yes, I had a horrible experience - didn't get to eat a bite and still left our waitress a 20.00 tip - it was not her fault and she was as professional as she could be.... While the servers that were involved were lack luster to say the least - especially the one that yelled at me over and over - she should not be working for you. Thank you for listening and those of you out there are now forewarned -- PROCEED...

Read moreThis was our first time here. We are local so we were excited to try it. We found some things disappointing. We ordered our drinks and waited for a while. When our server came back she asked us if we were ready to order our meal. We still didn't have any drinks so she explained she was waiting on the beverage person. Hmm I'm so confused why 2 sweet teas and 1 unsweet should take 15 minutes. But ok we let that go. We ordered million dollar potatoes as as starter but it came with our meal. Ok again no big deal as long as everything tastes OK. The potatoes should be called half million potatoes instead. The flavor was awesome but the potatoes were either barely cooked to half cooked to perfectly cooked. All three of of ordered the broccoli soup and bacon salad. The salads tasted wonderful but all three looked completely different. Some had more lettuce than toppings and the other had all toppings and barely any greens. Wonderful taste though. The soup tasted like it was out of a can so we all took one or two bites then left it. The staff was very friendly and we didn't tell them about our disappointment. Not sure if we...
