We recently dined at Alfredo’s on Folly Beach and had an exceptional experience that I am eager to share. From the ambiance to the food, everything about this restaurant was top-notch.

Italian Salad The meal began with the Italian Salad, which was a fresh and vibrant start. The salad featured a crisp mix of greens, ripe tomatoes, cucumbers, and olives, all dressed in a tangy and well-balanced Italian vinaigrette. The freshness of the ingredients stood out, and the portion size was generous, making it a perfect starter to share.

Garlic Bread Following the salad, we indulged in the Garlic Bread, and it did not disappoint. The bread was perfectly toasted with a golden, crispy crust and a soft, buttery center. Each slice was generously slathered with a rich garlic butter, enhanced by a sprinkling of herbs. It was addictive and complemented the rest of the meal wonderfully.

Spicy Calabrian Sandwich The Spicy Calabrian Sandwich was packed with flavor. Served on a fresh, crusty roll, the sandwich was packed with, savory meat and melty cheese. The sandwich a standout item on the menu.

Fettuccine with Beef Ragu The Fettuccine with Beef Ragu was the highlight of our meal. The fettuccine was cooked perfectly al dente, providing an excellent base for the rich and hearty beef ragu. The ragu was packed with tender pieces of beef and a deep, robust flavor that suggested hours of simmering. The sauce was well-seasoned and complemented the pasta beautifully, making each bite a delight.

Overall Experience Overall, Alfredo’s on Folly Beach exceeded my expectations. The quality and flavor of the dishes, combined with the warm and inviting atmosphere, made for a truly enjoyable dining experience. Whether you’re a local or a visitor, Alfredo’s is a must-visit for anyone who appreciates authentic and delicious Italian cuisine. I look forward to returning and exploring more...

I have to admit that even though I had read the reviews and was expecting it to be good, before I tried Alfredo's on Folly I was fairly convinced that it would be less good than the ratings seemed to imply. However my wife wanted to try it so we went. To be fair, it's a small shop with only three tables inside and a few outside. There is nothing fancy about the place... until you try the food. All the pastas are handmade. The sauces are fantastic. We tried the Cavatelli with Amatriciana sauce, the Pappardelle with Carbonara and Chicken and the Paccheri with Beef Ragu and Meatball, along with two orders of garlic bread.

All the pastas were amazing and my son actually got a second order of the Cavatelli to go he liked it so much. The portion size was much, much larger than it appears to be in the pictures. Suffice it to say that I am a large man and I walked away absolutely stuffed from my bowl of Pappardelle that was absolutely stuffed with chicken and the most delicate pasta. The garlic bread was relatively thinly sliced, crusty italian bread with wonderful buttery, garlic topping that had been toasted to perfection.

I highly recommend Alfredo's on Folly to anyone in the area and will definitely be back to try other dishes. Thanks for making our...

Put down your phone and just eat here! It’s that damn good!

During a recent trip, my wife and I ate here three times! All of the pasta is fresh and cooked perfectly. The sauces are tasty, flavorful, and plentiful. The garlic bread has a perfect texture and flavor. The Caesar salad salad is outstanding. Truthfully, this is an outstanding place to eat and such a little hole in the wall you would never expect it. The staff was always friendly, the chef is always eager to please, and overall, we were just thrilled. Obviously, we ate there three times in a short period of time!

Do those about to nosh, I salute you!

Note: for the record, on our third visit, we got it to go. The sauces, salad and garlic bread were all outstanding. The pasta had a little bit of an unusual flavor and we think that one of their pots had gone dry and the bottom had scorched. And when they had cooked the pasta in it, it picked up that burnt scorched flavor. Was not as pleasant as the previous two visits, but we think it was an honest mistake and we would not let that deter us from...
