Frequent visitor of Charleston and Folly Beach, but first time dining here. Got here around 11:30 on a Saturday morning, and I'm glad we did due to the traffic getting into Folly. Instantly greeted by staff and seated on the outside patio. The atmosphere is very family friendly and pet friendly. The menu had a good selection of seafood and other items that was not seafood. I ended up getting the chicken caesar wrap with chips and the fried calamari to start. The lady friend got the Cobb salad. The calamari was out quick and was hot and fresh. My only complaint there was the breading was a little overwhelming for the size of the calamari. The chicken caesar wrap was delicious with just the right amount of dressing and parmesan cheese inside. The chips were pretty bland although they had some type of seasoning on them. The lady friend enjoyed the salad and her frozen strawberry margarita. Other than the chips being bland, my only other complaint was the pricing. It was a little steep for some of the quality, but I would love to come back and try more of the menu.

The Atmosphere: Very cool place in Folly beach with an awesome beach restaurant vibe. The food: I ordered the Blackened Flounder Tacos and they were just ok. Kind of bland tasting. I mostly tasted shredded cabbage. My wife had the Caesar Chicken wrap and I tasted it and it was delicious. Everyone else in our party liked their food. I will definitely come back but try something different next time. The burgers looked amazing so I would try that next. Service: We had a group of 9 ppl. We sat at two booths and my booth ordered first. The party with us got their food about 20 minutes before we did. They were done eating before we got our food. It was a busy night in March, so I understand being busy. I feel they should have brought all our food out together. Final Thoughts: All in all I would definitely still give them a second try. It wasn’t a bad experience but maybe just an off night. This place came highly recommended so I’m sure it was just an off night.

My fiancé and I had ate at Loggerheads when we first moved to Charleston back in 2019, so we deemed it fitting to enjoy our last meal in Charleston at the same spot. We arrived around 7 P.M. to grab a quick bite and drink, and to enjoy the live music. We got seated on the outside deck within 5ish minutes of being there and took a look at the food menu. We didn’t receive a drink menu or know where to locate it so we were waiting on our server to request one. After about 5-7 minutes of waiting our server arrived and guided us to the drink menu that was on the QR code on the table. My fiancé ordered himself a beer and I took a second to look at the menu. We waited about 10 minutes before our server came back with my fiancés beer and to take my drink and our food orders. I noticed during that time our server was more interested in talking to the ladies at the bar while we waiting. After he took our food order we never saw our server again. Our food came fairly quickly and was overall pleasantly delicious. We both ordered the crab cake sandwich one with onion rings and one with potato salad. After we received our food, we never had service again. We never got drink refills nor got checked on. My fiancé sat with no beverage for over 20 minutes before we finally decided to find a server and request our bill. Our server finally came back out with the bill and offered no apology or anything. It was quite disheartening to know this was our last time dining out in Charleston and this is the service and experience...

I went to Loggerhead’s for an early dinner with a group of 8 people. We were the only customers sitting inside, it wasn’t that busy. Our waiter was very rude to us from the get go. We only saw him when we ordered our food and when we got our food. We then asked for ranch, he proceeded to roll his eyes, loudly exhale and said “okay how now many need ranch before I come back with ranch just to find out someone else needs it”. It was a very rude and unnecessary remark. After we received our food and ranch (after a 45 minute wait), again the restaurant was not that busy, we were needing some refills. As we were looking around the room for him, we saw that he was sitting at the bar on his phone. We then received one $180 bill. He had not even bothered to ask if we wanted to split the check for an again, 8 person party. At this point, we had been there an hour and a half and were in a rush. We decided just to pay the one bill and venmo after. There was no tip left on the bill but cash left on the table. We then started heading to our cars, but were startled when the waiter came running after us and said “Is there something I did wrong to get a $0 tip on an $180 bill?” To which, a member of my party said “Sir there is cash on the table”. He then responded “I didn’t see any cash on the table.” The entire interaction was incredibly uncomfortable and unprofessional. I have never had a waiter be that rude or aggressive towards me. We...

What a BUMMER! This place has amazing potential. The hostess was fantastic! Very welcoming. However, the bartender... RUDE! He simply did not want to be there, and literally said he was just waiting for his hour and 44 minutes to be done. He was a horrible bar tender. Unwilling to give any recommendations to any guests on beverages or food. There were some gentlemen there who were visiting from Venezuela, and therefore had a language barrier. The bartender did not try to explain things to them or help them at all. We felt awful for those guests. We tried to help as best as we could, but it was also our first time going there, so we were not familiar with their menu and such to be able to help much. We got an appetizer - the chilled crab dip. It was OK, but nothing to brag about. We decided to tab out and leave to much better restaurant options in the area. They did have a DJ who was doing awesome that day. The atmosphere itself is really cool and could have been such a fun time, but the bartender just ruined the vibes. I would absolutely not keep him on staff if I was managing the place. It's really killing your sales. We were not the only people who opted to not stay - and we saw them out at other places that we went to, and we all had a much better...
