From the moment we stepped into this intimate Italian gem, we knew we were in for something special. The ambiance is warm, inviting, and quietly elegant—perfect for a romantic night out or a meaningful celebration. Soft lighting, thoughtful design details, and just the right touch of background music create a setting that feels both elevated and genuinely welcoming.

The food? Absolutely exceptional. Every dish reflects a deep respect for traditional Italian flavors, but with a modern, refined twist. We started with the burrata—creamy, fresh, and paired with perfectly roasted heirloom tomatoes and a drizzle of aged balsamic that could only be described as divine. The handmade pasta was a standout; delicate yet satisfying, and the sauces were balanced and deeply flavorful. The saffron risotto with seared scallops was nothing short of art on a plate.

What sets this restaurant apart, beyond the food, is the service. Attentive without being intrusive, the staff were knowledgeable, kind, and clearly passionate about what they do. Every recommendation—from the wine pairings to the dessert—was spot on.

We just had the most incredible meal and dining experience at Bella Maci!

Both the food and the service were outstanding!

We ordered the Baratta Bruchetta with prosciutto, apple, and a balsamic drizzle which is hands down one of the best appetizers we've ever had!

For our meals we all shared our choices which included the Rigatoni in a delicious bolognese, the Penne with dungeness crab in a cream sauce, and the braised short rib with polenta. For dessert we shared the flourless chocolate torte with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Every single bite was incredible, and we can't say enough wonderdul things about the family/owners and what amazing service we received! We felt like part of their family! Plus, it is so cute inside, and the prices are very reasonable!

If you haven't been there, GO! We already known it's going to be a regular spot for us!

If you are looking for a cozy quiet place with amazing food and wine. This is the place! First time in Folsom and decided to try this new place (opened April 2025) after driving several hours. Brian the chef is so personable and comes out to talk with you. Brooke is the server who is also very friendly. Her daughter, Maci, also works there. Would’ve liked a more generous pour of our wines but I appreciated the quality over quantity. My Chardonnay went so well with the Dungeness crab with penne. I should’ve added shrimp but it was nice that I could just focus on the crab. My husband’s zin went so well w his short rib dish. It was so tender and didn’t have any grisel or fat. We also ordered a chamomile tea and the cheesecake with strawberries which was also good but nothing out of the ordinary. I would definitely come back here if we pass...
