Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Fontana

We had a very unpleasant experience at this location. Initially we were told we could order our pizza and dine in as the business hours indicated they’re open until 1am.

The first of many issues was the long wait time when we arrived and being completely ignored by the staff to place an order. Finally, a nice gentleman came out from the back and took our order.

The second issue was when my name popped up on the screen that my order was ready, my husband politely asked if we could get our pizza and was shut down with a shrug of the shoulders and was told that they didn’t know.

Lastly, they finally called out my name, as we had worked over a 12 hour shift, we were as excited as ever to finally get a meal in after a long hard day of work only to be told the dining room was closed and we had to leave. When my husband politely asked if we could just eat for 10 minutes since it was 12:40, we were told the dining room closed the moment they stopped taking stores.

None of this made sense to me because having working in this field for many years I have an understanding that the business continues to work until the end of business hours. I asked to speak to the manager and as rude and passive aggressive as he was to say “I am the manager” with a very sarcastic smile made us very upset and ruined our dinner. We place are order online when we got there the pizza was not ready so we waited, the cook look new and was on the phone calling someone for help, the manger walks in with Starbucks in hand and without washing his hand goes straight into making pizza.As they are making pizza, the other orders are getting burned and saw them talked about burned cinnamon rolls for another order and send it out anyway. Are pizza was ready but they did not say anything and when the manager took it out form the warmer he opens it looks at it stops walking and goes back to put a pizza sticker on it so we can not look at it, so I open the box and it was a hand tossed pizza but I order a pan crust when I told him they gave us the wrong crust he said they were out and I told him why didn't he tell us instead of trying to lie and give us the wrong order but didn't not saying anything but try to shift the blame. Before me there was a lady ordering and the cashier lowered her total with a discount. I was never offered any special deal or discount to which I didn't say anything about it. And before I ordered my food I was told it it had to be to go, because the diner was closed. I said ok. So, while we are waiting for our order this guy comes with his family and orders and he is allowed to stay and eat there. Not happy at all. I asked for well done pizza and it was not. The restrooms also needed attention. One of them didn't have soap, so I went to the other one and that one didn't have paper for the hands.
