Elliot's Martini Bar, Fort Collins, Colorado - So I was in town for Cross of the North, a cyclocross race on Saturday and Sunday, where I visited this martini bar on Sunday night. It was not very busy around 7 O'clock Sunday evening where I ordered a drink at the bar. I then proceeded to walk around the venue to experience the ambience as well as chat with a few other patrons. A couple was seated in the front window area and I had a nice chat with them, as it was also their first time visiting. I was rudely interrupted by a very serious looking employee who was doubling as a patron sitting with her "girlfriend" in a nearby table. She/"they" told me that I needed to sit down at the bar or table and was not permitted to be walking around with a drink. I sat down immediately in place and continued the conversation with the lovely couple before I was accosted. Really? One can't move around a bar or lounge with a drink? How is that policy conducive to meeting new people. I mean, it may be the primary reason for a certain percentage of people going to a bar or lounge to meet others. I understand Covid, but no one was wearing a mask and people are encouraged to be responsible and stay home if sick. Well, next time I'm in Fort Collins, I won't be patronizing Elliot's Martini Bar. So today, 11/15, I don't believe I received a reply from the owner..manager about why I was told one cannot drink a beverage unless seated in a martini bar? Was the employee who told me so jealous that I spoke with her girlfriend?...
Read moreI had a great night with my friends everything was perfect. But unfortunately some of my friends walked away with a beer and he said no (which is so valid!!!) . We were all very respectful and went back to the bar and my friend who took the drink outside came back. I offered to help her finish her drink and so I did. Josh proceeded to then take the drink out of my mouth and spill it all over me. I am really sad about this experience because it was a lot of fun but unfortunately it turned sour very quick. As I have worked in bars before I am used to dealing with this, but this was really hurtful because I kept it very respectful. I do understand the long nights and such, but seriously taking a drink out of someone’s mouth after they offered to help is ridiculous. I understand the faults of my friend for taking the drink out of the premises( as someone who has worked in a bar. I understand the legal repercussions of that) that’s why I offered to help not escalate the situation but josh was very unresponsive to any help I tried. I apologize on my friends behalf for her actions, but it did not need to escalate...
Read moreFirst off just wanna point out the fact that it’s a Martini Bar that clearly specializes in variety of drinks. Not sure why drinks is not listed to rate. Bc I would definitely give 6 ⭐️ had it been listed. Now I’ve never had any food there so I can’t honestly give it any ⭐️ but I gave 5 ⭐️ pertaining for “drinks” not food. HIGHLY recommend BadBitch martini 🙌🏽 ! Now every time I’ve gone it’s been super busy. Typically wait time but never been more than 10-20mins. Keep in mind it’s not huge place and it does stay busy. That being said it can get pretty loud inside. Almost hafta yell to talk with your party. But it is fun atmosphere and drinks always hit. Service is great, servers always very friendly & work super hard but with awesome attitudes to get to everybody quickly as possible that is very obvious to see. Much respect to them. As slammed as they get them servers never show it they always have a smile on their faces. Ngl tho you may hafta wait good min to get your drink. We waited literally 30mins last time. But it was definitely worth it. I would definitely recommend...
