The East Coast Bar its not just A bar its a place where I can come have an amazing time dancing to there live DJ music, laugh with the locals in my community and feel safe. I have been coming here for over 7 years, truly I consider all the staff and owners family. They treat you with respect and make you feel at home. i went to the coast for the first time tonight with my girlfriend and some friends and had the worst experience of my life. Not only were men inappropriately touching me and talking to me, but I waited for over 30 minutes and all four bartenders refused to serve my girlfriend or I who had been patiently waiting. The bartenders served at least three groups who were in line behind us and wouldn’t register our existence. This is by far the worst experience I’ve had at any bar ever. The coast is working on fulfilling a need in fort Collins: dance venue. Although the dance area is on the smaller side, it's good enough to shake it with 40-50 folks. Front by the bar is good for chillin', the drinks are not cheap but also not too $$. Hit or miss on the entertainment, but isn't that everywhere? Staff is decently friendly, bathrooms are roomy, small patio on the sidewalk with Western exposure is nice sometimes as well.
