McDonald's — Restaurant in Fort Collins

We stopped at this McDonalds today for lunch and had the worst experience we have ever had at any mcdonalds. We ordered five sandwiches, two sausage egg mcmuffins, two triple cheeseburgers, and one cheeseburger for our daughter. We placed our order at the drive thru at 12:29pm. We were asked to park at the number 4 parking spot to wait for our food. The number 4 was full so we had to pull off to the side. While we were waiting we observed a Male employee walking with bags of food, he was walking down the row of parked cars handing the bags into the cars letting the people rummage through the bags to determine if the food was theirs. If the food wasnt theirs he would walk the bag to the next car and repeated the process until he got the food to correct car. There was one bag that apparantly didn't belong to any of the parked cars because he walked back inside carrying it. When the parking spot number 4 opened up we pulled into the spot and the same gentalmen came out and asked for our receipt. We handed him the receipt and he was walked back inside. When he came back out with our food the bag was ripped and appeared to be the bag he had been previously passing into cars. At this time we found we were missing two sandwiches, the sausage egg mcmuffins. At this time my husband took the bag and the receipt inside to go speak with someone. When he walked inside he waited for approximately 20 minutes before anyone acknowledged him. Once he was acknowledged he explained that the gentalmen had been letting people look thru the bags and that we were missing two of our sandwiches. He asked for them to remake the entire order due to the fact that the sandwiches that had been made were now cold and had been handled by multiple strangers. The manger agreed to remake the order. When the manager brought the order back she asked for my husband to verify that everything was there and we were still missing the two sausage egg mcmuffins. When he stated they were still missing the manager told him "they are right there". My husband took out the two triple cheeseburgers and stated these are not sausage egg mcmuffins. The manager then got the two egg mcmuffins and my husband brought us back out the food. He did not return to the car until 1:15pm. In total we waited 46 minutes to get our food, the manger was extremely rude to my husband, and did not seem to think it was a problem at all the food had been handled by other people stating "we haven't had any other complaints...

Absolutely rude drive-thru workers, half-filled orders of fries, fish sandwiches served so far past their hold times that they're basically rubber (don't bother asking for fresh or you'll get a scoff thru the speaker and a rude attitude afterwards), and luke warm burgers served with unmelted, cold cheese. This is by far the worst location in Fort Collins!

For being a busy location, their quality of food and customer service just plain sucks.

They never greet you in a friendly way and every worker there seems miserable when talking to customers and taking orders - like they hate their job and it obviously shows through with their actions. I always get a condescending attitude when I order apple pies, too. Like it's such a hassle to press that little apple pie button and charge my card.

What's the deal?

Don't bother coming to this location after midnight - you'll get the worst service and treatment imaginable from the night crew. Don't even get me started with that experience...not only rude, but wannabe little scammers. I was the only person in line, and ordered a single large fry, the lady told me to pull forward for my total. I thought that was odd. The drive-thru lady then wanted to charge me over 5$ for a single large fry when she seen I was paying with cash. What the hell kind of scam was she trying to pull...? Is there now surge pricing on fires after midnight? I laughed and drove off to the location a mile down the road, ordered the same thing, and it only cost me $3 and some change. Why the price difference?

So in a nutshell, If you're looking for fast, friendly service with fresh food without the possibility of being scanned - you'll get the exact opposite at this location. Save yourself the disappointment and goto a different location a mile down the road.

With 23 negative and 15 positive reviews on FB alone, you'd think management would take notice and want to correct the problems at hand. Apparently not since the same issues have been present for years according to the reviews. Perhaps it's time for new management since they can't seem to properly train their...

Giving this McDonald’s 2 stars because their food is McDonald’s standard. I would give 0 for my interaction Tuesday 3/26/2024 around 6:35pm.

The employees, guaranteed, will not go out of their way for you or even attempt to do their jobs efficiently.

I put in a mobile order to pick up through the drive-thru. I was given my drinks(no straws) and I was then asked to park (I didn’t want to park because then I would have ordered curbside pickup). The spot they told me to park in had a sign that said “save time with mobile order and pay”…… or don’t save time I guess?

Employee came out with the wrong order, looked at me baffled when I was checking the bag and clearly it wasn’t anything I ordered and the bag was cold. I handed it back and explained my order to her, she laughed in my face and then walked away. She met up outside with other employees (I believe) with the random bag of food and were talking in Spanish outside loudly enough to hear over a couple cars running and the loud intersection of College and Harmony.

Fast forward almost 5 minutes- the same employee comes back out with the correct food in my bag (but one of the order of fries was dumped all over the rest of the food- at least they were hot) and shoved the bag towards me without saying anything.

The crew needs to be trained further with how to engage with the general public.

This of course is not my first time at this McDonald’s- I’ve lived in Fort Collins for 7 years and this is my most visited one due to location.

I believe this location has gone downhill when they took the random pond/fountain thing out at the drive through 5-6 years ago (does anyone remember that? You would order and then pull up before the pay window and just hear a nice fountain of running water- it greatly calmed customers having to...
