Unfortunately going out of my way to bring this to attention. I have completed over 2,000 deliveries and this was unexcusable. Sunday late morning, not a rush, I arrived to pickup a door dash order. Your restaurant is set up to wait and grab the order off of the pickup shop as I've done simply before. There were three women working there. Meg was taking care of all the drinks another girl chatting with her, only allowed to work the register and not help her coworker, and a third passing me multiple times opening cabinets for inventory. I did not want to inundate the line as your restaurant is set up anyway so I continue to wait patiently 20 minutes past before I realized the order wasn't being prepared so I asked the barista if she was working on the dd order, "its 20 minutes late." Meg says "I know" turns her back register, girl hands a bag they throw a burrito in the bag and then hand me the drink. I decided to let her know I was trying to be patient but next time I will ask. Mean while she never made eye contact with me or said sorry or even smiled. I also made a point to let her know it is very rude to not make eye contact with your customers. I seen other customers pick up their drink, they told her thank you and she was too busy chitchat with her co-workers to even give them a smile. Fort Collins locals are known for being too nice, what's wrong with these girls? Im not sure why staff is bothered by Dasher orders but your loyal customer got their order 40 minutes past delivery time. Also I have a contract violation for being late and will communicate this to door dash, I made your customer aware of the fact I wasn't acknowledged...

I’ve been going to Mugs on Laurel for quite some time because it has three things I love in a coffee shop, 1) lots of big tables close to outlets for long work/study sessions, 2) light! I hate when a coffee shop has no natural light. Mugs has a ton of it! And 3) good coffee. Good coffee and good baristas who know how to make a good cappuccino. The food is tasty too, especially the breakfast burritos, and there are a ton of food options to pick from.
Now, unfortunately this place can get really busy, but it’s understandable and like I said, they have a ton of space and plenty of tables. They hit a weird week where they weren’t serving food and everyone seemed cranky. When I expressed concerns the manager was great. Offered sincere apologies, contact info, and a gift card. Definitely made me want...
Read moreI am a student at CSU who visits Mugs practically every day because I love the staff, the coffee, and the atmosphere. The staff isn't afraid to chat with me, and I'm always greeted with a smile. Additionally, I love their chai and coffee. The drinks are perfect to have while studying. I must mention how great their pastries are. Personally, I love their cinnamon roll! It is a perfect sweet treat. Lastly, the atmosphere is unbeatable. They have awesome CSU pride, I love their gallery of plants, and the music they play is great. Not to mention, they attract a great crowd of customers, not afraid to give up a seat or watch your computer if you step out for a second. Overall, I highly recommend visiting Mugs for anyone interested in CSU, students in need of a place to study, or anyone looking for a new favorite...
