OMG, such a fabulous choice for lunch, the food was scumptous, and the guys working there were such a delight. The guest bartender Nate was so pleasant and informative on all the questions we asked of him. They even gave Skippy a little bowl of chicken he just devoured along with it being in a little bowl perfect for his size. For you all who don't know Skippy is a yorkie, small 9lbs. Now we ordered the Sammy deal 2, which gives you 2 Sammy's, a side order & drink. Food wise, you just can't go wrong as it's all delicious as can be, first real restaurant that's just perfect in my books. I would definitely go back to eat at trying all their Sammy's. Alright, now, what we ordered as you can mix and match your Sammy's. Mine choice was the Cheesestake Sammy, Banning MI Chicken(lordy it don't get any better), Tater-Eclair, and a Raspberry iced tea( so tasty). Little brother ordered 2 BBQ Sammys, tater-eclair, and half an order of wings with sweet & tangy Asian sauce. Oh, the Tater-Eclair comes with a number of choices of dipping sauces( brown sugar bacon, Chipotle, Sriracha). They were all delightful and tasty big time. For all the Sammy's, please see the attached menu, as it's too much for me to list ha ha! Big Shout Out to Danny, the owner & his partner for 10 years of a local top-notch restaurant that really satisfies all my taste buds. 👌 The conversation was pleasant & refreshing thanks for being such a delightful person. People being real is hard to find nowadays. It will ensure you stay in business for another 10 years. How could anyone not remember your great Sammy restaurant. If people want a change of regular boring food, The Colorado Room is for you to try. You will not regret it. You'll be like me. Why don't we have one back home,...
Read moreOur recent visit to The Colorado Room in Fort Collins was more than just a meal; it was a symphony of exceptional service and culinary delights that left an indelible mark on our taste buds and hearts.
From the moment we walked in, the warmth of Colorado's hospitality embraced us, setting the tone for an extraordinary experience. The standout feature of our lunch was undoubtedly the service. The staff at The Colorado Room redefined hospitality, turning a simple meal into a memorable journey.
Our server, Danny, a true maestro of customer care, went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. Their knowledge of the menu was not just impressive; it was personalized to our tastes, leading to recommendations that perfectly complemented our preferences. It was a level of service that transformed our dining experience into something truly special.
Now, let's talk libations and bites. The margarita, a masterpiece in a glass, was one of the best I've ever had – a testament to the skill and passion of the colorado room. But what truly stole the show were the sweet potato fries. Crispy perfection on the outside, melt-in-your-mouth goodness on the inside – each bite was a celebration of culinary expertise.
The Colorado Room isn't merely a restaurant; it's a haven where service takes center stage. The exceptional care we received from the staff elevated our lunch into a memorable event, making it a must-visit for anyone seeking not just a meal, but an experience filled with genuine warmth and culinary brilliance. Kudos to The Colorado Room for proving that outstanding service can truly make a dining experience...
Read moreThe Colorado Room has good sandwiches, but the back patio could use some work. It has an unfinished feel, and doesn't seem to get much attention. There are discarded pieces of furniture, mismatched tables which always seem to be sticky, a stage that has junk piled on it, and some sort of metal bracket that is hanging from the ceiling with no clear purpose and a general unkempt feel to it. There is a mismatch between where the roof from the main building meets the roof over the patio which allows leaves and other detritus to blow in. The whole thing gives the overall impression that someone with good intentions but not a whole lot of skill in construction gave it a good try but then just threw their hands in the air and said "screw it", and at some point decided to use it as a storage area but didn't quite clear everything out before deciding to use it as a place for live performances which never really happened, and finally just threw in some tables and a few space heaters and opened it up as a back patio and forgot that they are supposed to clean the tables once in a while. That being said, it is still worth going there and the sandwiches are good, if a bit small. They would definitely benefit from higher quality bread, but are flavorful. Canadians will probably enjoy having Poutine in the States but I found the Rocky Mountain Oysters to be on the greasy side (do not recommend). The tater eclairs are a nice change of pace in my opinion and come with a tasty dipping sauce. Give this place a try if you have never been, it is definitely an experience and...
