I was already not terribly pleased that I got outvoted by my coworkers and we ordered our lunch from here again. The last two times we have ordered from here were not ideal either. The first time I ordered a standard philly which ran through me like FloJo and left me bent over and overall smelly. The second time I decided to order something different for fear of the havoc wrecked on my lower intestine. I got the Italian Pork which was good, but I am sure it would have been better hot. Mind you I understand that my work place is far enough away I do not put that on taste of philly. However, when you partner with grubhub and doordash and contract their drivers out when you order directly from the website. They are now a part of your brand and name. I specifically avoid ordering through doordash and grubhub when we can, they mark up prices on the food and charge extra delivery fees and I would rather pay the hired drivers of a company and continue to support the company than a third party. My coworker took my concerns to heart and ordered directly from your website. When the order arrived, it was missing 2 of the 8 sandwiches. We called to let them know about the mistake. They then had to call doordash, which led to a he said she said battle and a final thought of the sandwiches should be there in 20 minutes. 25 minutes later my lunch is still at the restaurant, they say doordash hasn't sent a driver yet. What third party driver wants to pick up an order 7 miles out for no tip because its a restaurant mistake? No one, no wonder my food is still there. So 2 hours later, we received a partial refund to the company card, and still no lunch. Since this was a "reward" lunch and was planned, I did not bring my own food to work. So now my company has been refunded for this mistake, however I am still hungry and stuck at a desk with no food. In summary, if you are not going to utilize your own drivers, don't make online ordering directly through the restaurant available for anything other than pick up and do yourselves a favor and double check orders before they leave...

I called this location at 11 a.m. to pick up food for my husband's lunch for work the owner took my order Ryan and he told me my food would be ready by 11:15 I showed up at 11:25 and the food had not even been started Not only was I upset but I told him I did not want the food because I could not wait my husband said to go ahead and wait for it and I came back in they were talking about me and I was standing right there listening jokingly started my food again theythought it was a big joke as I stood there for another I don't know 20 minutes waiting for my food so I got my food at 11:40 343 minutes over the phone order. The owner ra the Ryan came back infrom an errand I assume and he could tell I was upset he knew that he had placed the order with me at 11:15 I could tell that he knew what was up he did not offer an apology he did not pay for my food I paid $27 almost $28 for two sandwiches it took 45 minutes not an apology or anything not to mention the girl that's running the register is new and she is snotty very very unprofessional and not a good pick for a new hire I would say I would say that I've seen this location just decline I don't know how many times I have ordered food had it brought to my house and the fries are overly cooked and I call and ask him to not over cook the fries again and they over cook the fries again it's just been an ongoing issue with this location they never offer an apology they never they never offer to pay for your fries or your food latest don't even care about their thecustomeryou think that the owner would care more and I'm a very popular person in town I do work at a location that could bring them a lot of business I used to talk highly about this location and go there way more often than I have and this will be the last time and all my friends are going to know that and I'm going to make a point of making sure that they lose business, the owner is not a man that cares about his customers. I just moved here from Philly, the cheese steak capital of the world. I've got to say, before trying A Taste of Philly, I had NEVER had a decent cheese steak outside of the Philadelphia metropolitan area or the surrounding burbs. These guys know what they're doing! Even the bread is on point. They aren't shy with the steak either, they really pile it on!

The "Original Philly" comes with sauteed onions and melted American cheese unless otherwise specified. I like to think of this as a "suburb steak" because that's how they do 'em up in the area I grew up in, the burbs just south of the city. For something like what you might find at the more famous south Philly area joints, (like Pat's, Geno's, Jim's or Tony Luke's) simply substitute Cheeze Whiz. Though steaks with Whiz can be tasty and are beloved by many Philadelphians, bear in mind that Cheese Whiz isn't a real cheese at all... it's "a processed cheese sauce or spread from Kraft Foods, developed by a team of food scientists". I'll switch it up now and then because they are indeed tasty, but I'd suggest starting with one made with real American or Provolone cheese.

They offer various other types of steaks and chicken steaks with an assortment of toppings as well. Im also a big fan of their cheese fries. They're very good fries smothered in Whiz and they're quite delicious.

Ordering from this place is a real treat that offers a much needed taste of home. Take it from me, these guys...

I ordered two sandwiches for pick up and when I got home, I checked both my sandwiches one of them Was supposed to have jalapeƱos in it And both sandwiches we’re supposed to have extra cheese so I gave them a call and voiced my concern basically just to get told by The employee that he knows I’m lying and I can check my sandwich again for the extra cheese and that my jalapeƱos were on the side. i’m fine with my stuff on the side, but I think it’s the customerā€˜s opinion about if it’s extra cheese or not and this, my friend is not xtra cheese.šŸ˜‚

Called to place an order for pick up and their phone goes directly to an automated voice message. Either the phone is turned off, disconnected or the number is incorrect. It’s on the website, google and the Val pack ad.this makes ordering more difficult. This needs to be addressed. Despite that, we went in to order and the service was great. Fairly busy and they had us out the door in decent time. Our food was excellent. I will be eating here again soon! Also, try the Canolis šŸ‘Œ

SO darn satisfying. I only get back to my roots in Philly once a year and get my in-between fix at the Fort Collins location. Take out tonight. My wife had the Mushroom Cheesesteak and I had the Works (mushrooms, grilled onions, green bell pepper, white cheese). Pricey but loaded with meat, a traditional crispy roll and a taste you can't find at too many other places. We also grabbed a side of onion rings. Also very tasty. FAST service, friendly crew. Great experience.
