I wonât be returning. Service may vary.
Service may vary. This was my first time attending Beyond Brunch . I followed the BB Sundays on IG i was excited to finally go. A group of friends and I reserved a picnic table that included two bottles for the 3:30 -6:30 slot . I really donât like to leave anything less than a 4 star review for a Black-owned or Black managed experience, but the service was very inconsistent and it affected our experience.
*You might pay more. You might be more than what is advertised when we arrived. The amount that the final amount that was shared with us was greater than what was publicized on the website
*Food lines were inefficient. The line for food was pretty long and inefficient. How did they find a way to have double buffet lines so that I think it runs more quickly and smoothly
*Teamwork and communication are lacking. When we went to the host stand to be seated, they thought our party had already been seated and we had to wait for the host, who greeted us at the door, to come and clarify. This took about 15 minutes.
*Poor Service. It took almost another 30 minutes for us to receive our drinks. We watched two tables be seated after us, and both of those tables received their drinks before we did.
Allergen risk* For some reason when drinks finally came out, they only brought out pineapple juice. Usually two juices are brought out. Someone in our party is allergic to pineapple juice, and we specifically asked for cranberry juice and coke when paying the balance. After sharing this with our server, she never returned with any other juice.
There were a couple individuals who were willing to listen and try to find out what was going on, but things were so busy that the communication did not happen. We watched tables next to us be served and catered to, while our table was completely ignored and neglected.
*The food was decent. However, the line was so long that going back in was discouraging. Imaging standing in line for 30 minutes while your favorite sings are being played, then your food being cold. The Unlimited food didnât really feel Unlimited.
With this being my first experience and impression I donât see myself returning.
*Word to management. Please foster teamwork. Service should only depend on which bottle girl you get. Find a way to make your food lines more efficient (Ex: double the lines, allow people to pass on both side of the table. This is often done at hotel banquets) Be more transparent about pricing, additional fees included gratuity, etc. Surprises are not fun and can...
Read moreIve visited this outdoor bar once before this weekend, and the men at the door looked at me and my friend as if we were lost and needed directions. . We were turned away because we didn't fit the "dress code".. our pants were not " fitted enough".. so we went back home to change and they had no choice bit to let us in.. and once we got in I can't say that I was surprised to see other ppl who weren't following there "dress code. . A few months later, this St. Patrick's day weekend we decided to go out on a limb and try the place again despite the first impression. . This time while showing the men at the door my id another male walked over abd told me I wanwt allowed in because I violated dress code again because of my permanent gold teeth.. only two mind you! I asked was he serious and he straight faced told me yes we can't let u in! All I could do was laugh, since when was something in your mouth violating dress code?? Next there going to not allow ppl with tongue piercings and braces into their bar! I'm pretty sure I know why this part of the "dress code" was put in place.. because gold teeth are associated with ghetto African Americans and that's one way to keep them out, discrimination don't u think? Im pretty sure next there going to not be letting anyone with dread locks or corn rows in.. im far from a thug and have never been treated that way because of mouth jewelry. . I wouldn't suggest this club to anyone, white, black, Spanish and...
Read moreDonât book party packages here. booked a party package a few months back for my friends bachelorette. I had confirmed everything was all set the week before our booked time. Everything went to garbage the second we showed up.
They had planned a hockey watch party that started at 6, and had forgotten about our package. We had to wait outside for 30 minutes while staff scrambled to figure things out, passing us off to different people. Eventually someone brought us to the bar and told us it wasnât her fault, zero party package stuff could happen and they âdidnât know what to tell usâ and said I needed to talk to the bartender. the brunette bartender was awful, super rude and told her manager in front of us she didnât want to deal with us since we had open bar and she assumed we werenât tipping. When I asked if we were getting a partial refund due to not getting half of what we paid for, she yelled âare you aware youâre getting an extra hour of open bar?â No, because thatâs the first time anyone said that.
Some guy Gustavo who said he was the GM came over and apologized and said he would take care of us and he would be back with champagne- never saw him again.
Additionally, Iâve emailed the event booker Jade, itâs been a week now and sheâs definitely never going to respond. So Iâm leaving this review now to warn other people not to waste their money.
Two stars since the blonde bartenders were super nice, bouncer was funny, and we made the most...
