F O O D: On Father's day Sunday I ordered the 2 2 2 special with a side of hashbrowns. The special came with 2 pieces of bacon, 2 eggs, and 2 pancakes. The bacon could have been cooked a little longer for it to be crispy. The pancakes were NOTHING special expect the size was great, but flavor without syrup wasn't nothing to rave about. Eggs were eggs cooked good. Now to the ultimate disappointment 😒 the hashbrowns they appearedto be seasoned really good but no taste, it had warm, hot and slightly cold pieces. Then to add the "warm/hot" parts had burnt crispy parts that actually tasted burn, I could even finish the hashbrowns nor could ketchup cover up the lack of something missing in seasoning and burnt parts. The sweat tea was sugar diabetes it was definitely up there with McDonald's. To end on a hood note they have amazing biscuits. S E R V I C E: The sign on the window LOW KEY spoke for the service, "Hiring for ALL POSITIONS". Father's day was busy and the wait outside was miserable. There is no inside waiting area. The waiter we had was Amanda with the pretty red hair. She was very sweet and hard working. LASTLY I wish the waiters wore mask ainstead of the bus-man (why do you need a mask to clean a table no one is at) but hey its Florida. D E C O R: Walking in on this particular day felt crowded and the inside decor made it feel more crowded. The plants could go outside, mirrors could be cleaned better, the desert case could be in a better stop and fix the broken TV. We humbly stumbled upon The Floridian while driving along Las Olas and man oh man, was it amazing!!

Our server Marvin greeted us warmly from the door and the experience only got better from there! I had the Philly omelet - very tasty! My friend had the crabmeat omelet and absolutely loved it!! Also, Marvin highly recommended his specialty - a vodka based Bloody Mary and let me just say - it’s a MUST TRY if you come here!!
