My job placed an order, at pretty much the 11th hour, for a meeting we were having at work. The service is beyond! Ana is the BEST! One of those no pressure types, I did not feel stressed AT ALL. I picked the sandwiches, which they cut and cater into a container, and it was the perfect amount of food for the number of attendees we had. Post service, I needed a copy of the bill and again, no stress. I received what I needed with no concern whatsoever. I want to add that the people answering the phones are just as pleasant. Felt like I wasn't even calling a food service business. The food is spectacular! Everything is built up so you can taste the perfect amount of everything, not too much and not too little, and the PRICE!! Don't even want to go there.... but I will. I felt like there was a mistake on my bill and they missed an order or something. Seriously recommend. I was stressing a little because I was trying to place an order through our company restaurant app and it was super cumbersome and too last minute, and the price was INSANE once I went to finalize it.
If you fall into a situation like mine, skip the stress and go...
Read moreso i came here thinking that this was a new restaurant, as it’s no longer called offerdahl’s, but it’s still really bad and these are all the same reviews from back then, so i guess they just renamed it.
i had a breakfast burrito. all of the fillings inside were burnt, save for the ham and cheese. they don’t know how to handle grilled mushrooms, so you get a sopping wet thing that tastes burnt. gross.
and those trays they give you are sticky and disgusting.
to add insult to injury, you walk out if there smelling like vaporized oil or something. there’s a ton of great places to eat in downtown fort lauderdale, none of them are on that block.
you can read my review of this place from mine years ago below: +++
the place seems clean and we got our food quickly. i had the pork with an asian sweet chili sauce. it wasn't bad. we all ran to the bathroom right after eating.
i don't think i'm...
Read moreMy son and I stopped here for a late lunch while on vacation. I had the Cuban sandwich, he had a breakfast burrito and we shared a chicken empanada and ham croquette. We loved it! The empanada was flavorful and just the right size. The ham croquette was smaller than I thought, and I thought it was good but my son loved it. It was a minced ham battered and deep fried; it looked like a mozzarella stick. My son described the burrito as “a lot”…a lot of it, a lot of flavor and a lot of ingredients. It was quite big and it was quite tasty. Now…the Cuban! Wow! It was so yummy! The pork was lean, the ham wasn’t too thick, the perfect amount of cheese, the mustard amount was just right and it was served on a roll that was crunchy and hot! They served it with chips and it was sooo good! The service was exemplary and everyone was so friendly. We would...
