Not a daytime restaurant! We had gone into this place a few years back and it was really crowded because of a concert we were going to,, we only had drinks. Finding ourselves in a hurry to go to another concert we figured we’d get a quick bite. Our server was petite, sweet, very young. It was empty for the most part. The menu was very small and I can see why! I ordered beer, battered onion rings, and my wife ordered a burger that came with fries. Typical bar food! After using the restroom, the server came back and I ordered a twisted tea they had on tap. (Photo below) I was given an IPA and promptly told her that wasn’t a twisted tea and she adamantly said she poured it right from the twisted tea tapper. I told her it tasted like a apple and pear flavored IPA. And then asked her if she could go to the other side of the bar and, see if it was correct. She did and realize her mistake. Two minutes later, she came out with our food. I sure wish I had a photo of the onion rings she placed in front of me. My wife said no you didn’t! (meaning, no you did not bring those out and put them in front of us) I looked at the server and said “you would bring these to my table, they’re burnt”. She said the Cook guaranteed they were good, even though she said she didn’t agree with him. I took a small bite and it felt like someone caramelize the greasy batter, it was one shade off of black! I told her I worked at an entertainment establishment and if somebody brought that to a guest, they would be immediately fired! Needless to say, I watched my wife eat her burger, which was decent. Upon finishing I approached the manager and told him about my experience, and the fact they automatically charge 20% tip, I normally leave a cash tip. He knew nothing of the situation. I was outraged but kept my cool knowing I will write a review and hopefully they will be more apologetic to the next patron. Maybe a lesson learned is that anytime food goes back a manager needs to be notified so corrective measures and apologies can be offered. This is not an eatery for sober guests it’s more a 11PM to 4AM club! The atmosphere is very outdated and...
Read moreThis review is long overdue. I held an event here for my husband’s birthday on February 18th. Derrick was in charge of events and he was great. He made the booking process extremely easy. I purchased a drink package with 30 drink tickets and it was super affordable. Our bartender was awesome as well! She was super friendly and made sure we were taken care of with not only our drinks, but with our food too. The food tasted great, the drinks were even better, and we all really enjoyed our time! The only negative was that we were playing the corn hole game outside and out of nowhere the security (tall, black man with dreads on the top of his head) just removed the boards. Like I was literally mid turn and I turned around and the board was gone. When I asked him why he was removing the game he just rudely replied “game over” then ignored me as I continued to try to speak to him. We didn’t let that ruin our night but it was very annoying that as a guest who specifically chose a venue and prepaid to have a good time that a security guard would be so rude and inconsiderate. Another manager spoke to us and explained that the game needed to be put indoors because people on the strip tend to steal the bean bags and I can understand that, but the way that he handled the situation was inappropriate. At the end of the day we really enjoyed our night so a big shout out to your staff! (except the security guard) I also have a few leftover drink tickets that the manager said I could use any time so I will be back for...
Read moreEmbarrassing, tasteless experience. Invited some friends from Miami thinking food here would be a fun and dependable. Used to be public house and the food was fantastic, was hoping for similar. We ordered fried calamari — soooo dry, tough, gross. No moisture in the calamari. Also got the chicken piccata $22.00. Sauce was tasteless, needed lemon like piccata should have. Chicken was cooked well and not dry. Came with a tiny bowl of pasta but the lack of flavor and tiny portion didn't match the price. My girlfriend got boneless wings. She received a chopped up chicken breast with buffalo sauce on the side. Servers fault for not asking her preference as she clearly wanted the boneless fried type but then later we saw menu said to choose a type — breaded or naked (naked meaning a chopped up chicken breast into 1 inch pieces....awful presentation — not "wings" of any sort or even strips at least). Wondering if chef tastes dishes before he sends out, very tasteless. Ambiance was decent but I would never return since the food was highly disappointing. Nothing here. Hoping something replaces it shortly. I see reviews on here for salmon and pork chop, they were out of both this Saturday evening. Signature cocktails were just ok, really...
