My boyfriend and I saw this place while we were driving along Federal Highway and told ourselves we should give it a try sometime. We finally decided to give it a try yesterday since we had time and we opted to sit down inside. Super cute place! Very clean, lots of seating (indoor and outdoor) and overall cute vibes. I've been looking for a good roasted/rotisserie style chicken ever since Boston Market went bankrupt and this is DEFINITELY my new spot. I ordered the 1/4 chicken and 1/4 ribs combo and a side of green beans for myself and he ordered the chicken sandwhich with a side of corn on the cob. The food only took about 10 minutes max to come out and it was delicious! The ribs are already glazed with a house sauce or something, which is really good on it's own, but I preferred to slather them in the gold and regular bbq sauces. BTW, they have a huge sauce selection! The rib meat fell right off the bone and tasted so good by itself and with the sauce. The 1/4 chicken was HUGE and perfectly roasted with the chicken juices oozing out onto the plate. I personally didn't even use a sauce for the chicken because it was just so good on it's own. I'm extremely picky when it comes to chicken because I want to eat tender and juicy chicken, and this chicken DID NOT DISAPPOINT! There was so much food leftover that I had to take it home and eat more for dinner. My boyfriend also loved his chicken sandwhich and even though I didn't try it, it looked really good. I also really enjoyed the sides we got (corn and green beans) as they were cooked perfectly and had so much flavor. The food was SO GOOD that I literally went back today for takeout for lunch and the photos referenced are for what I ordered today plus my leftover ribs. The food was just as good today and I definitely will be going back often since it's so close to me but also well worth my money. For $16.99 I had chicken and ribs for lunch and dinner yesterday and today for $25 I ordered a half chicken that comes with two sides and got a brownie that they warmed up for me. Again, all this food can feed one person for two meals or just two people in general. The staff was also very kind to me and we were helped by a very nice lady who was very patient and attentive to us. I highly recommend this place and I hope this place stays around for awhile because I can see myself going here a couple...
Read moreHad lunch today at The Wild Rooster. We were headed to Einstein, in the same plaza, and noticed that in the previous Top Round location was a new restaurant and we were very pleasantly surprised. Ultra cool quick service decor of orange, cream and baby blue with red highlights, very inviting. The menu is all roasted chicken (my fave) and pork on sandwiches, combos and bowls, plus wings. We had a fried rice & chicken teriyaki bowl and a pulled pork BBQ sandwich with roasted veggies; both were delicious, served with real cutlery and melamine (like Panera), which I thought was a nice touch. Prices are comparable at $15pp++. Staff were new and helpful, the owner stopped by to check on us. A few “new place” wrinkles to work out - I’ll be back! PS-sorry I forgot to take pics of the food, I will on...
Read moreOur first visit to this restaurant was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The food was excellent, and the service was equally impressive. We were assisted by Azul, who was exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable, offering great recommendations that did not disappoint. The restaurant itself was spotless and welcoming, creating a comfortable dining atmosphere. We tried the chicken wings, French fries, and macaroni and cheese—all of which were delicious. The macaroni and cheese, in particular, stood out for its rich flavor and creamy texture. Overall, I highly recommend this place to anyone looking to try something new. Excellent food, top-notch service, and a great atmosphere make it well...
