Worst customer service ever !!! Avoid this place like the plague ! - ordered $300+ of sushi, walked in to pick up my order and the black girl at the register made me go to the back of line of people ordering their food instead of just letting me pay and leave with my order - I asked her nicely to just let me pay and with an attitude she refused - she made me wait in the line for 20 minutes and when I finally got to the register she gives me a dirty look and takes the customer behind me instead ! I asked her again to please let me pay and I asked to speak to a manager , which is when an Asian girl working there came up and started cursing me out in her language , at this point I again asked to speak to a manager to which they refused and started laughing at me. I was forced to leave empty-handed and late to a very important meeting at which everyone counted on me to show up with lunch. I was left embarrassed, mad, and in disbelief that anyone could ever treat a customer in this fashion. I am now certain all the google reviews on google are paid-for and fake ! I urge anyone else considering coming to this hell-hole to rethink their choice and find another place to eat, there are MUCH better options in the area where you won't be...
Read moreThe sushi quality at this “to-go” restaurant is even better than other Japanese sushi restaurants. And the price is very very reasonable. As I understand, the owner and chef are Japanese. It always better to have real Japanese chefs making sushi for you. All of their sushi from menu are tasting so good. One of my favorite is “Futo Maki ”. It’s very hard to find that Futo Maki roll in any other Japanese sushi restaurant. It’s a very popular sushi roll in Japan and in Taiwan. My mom used to make Futo Maki rolls for our lunch boxes. This to-go restaurant even have special every week, like popular Japanese plates Katsudon, Beef Udon Soups, Chili Shrimp Bento, etc. Please do not expect full service or good atmosphere from them, because that is only a “to-go” restaurant. Just pay attention on their gourmet sushi or foods. My tip is yo avoid busy hours like lunch and dinner times. It’s better to have a menu on hand and call ahead to order to avoid waiting in...
Read moreSimply the best sushi in Fort Lauderdale, and the cheapest at that. The place is cramped, tiny, uncomfortable, and confusing, the food makes up for all of this tenfold. (Plus you're not really intended to eat inside anyway).
The elderly lady who takes orders is a champ. Five stars to her. Never met anyone who can write down what I'm saying faster than I can say it. She had the whole menu memorized by number and practically read my mind as she wrote down what I wanted. It was quick, but it's a little hard to discern when your order is ready. They call it by food menu number, instead of by something like a receipt number. I would much prefer they took names off of the credit card used or just have order numbers from receipts to combat this slight confusion.
I would go back a million times though. I really really hope they stay in business for a long time and can remain at their insanely competitive prices....
